My aim is to help children regain their confidence for returning to school, after such a prolonged period of absence.
My lessons will be fun and interactive.
I have experience of teaching all year groups, from R to year 6 (experience of teaching EAL).
If your child is unable to return to school, for whatever reason, I am happy to teach online or face to face during the school day.
Even if you are simply concerned that they may have fallen behind with their reading or tables knowledge, I am here to help.

I have over 20 years experience of teaching within primary and independent preparatory schools. As a result, I have a broad knowledge of the entire primary curriculum.
As well as my main job, I have worked with children in American summer camps and tutored children preparing for the 11+ and common entrance exams.
As a teacher my lessons are renowned for being fun, interactive and most importantly inspirational.
With the prolonged period of school closure during the last academic year and the uncertainty of what lies ahead, many parent s are concerned that their children may have developed gaps in their knowledge. Don't panic, I'm here to help.
I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds (inner city, rural and town schools) with a range of learning abilities. You can trust me to ensure I will build their confidence and encourage them to return to school, prepared for the year ahead.

English has often been described as the 'language of the world', and for good reason! It is a language that allows many people from a multitude of countries to build new lives, pursue new careers, build new friendships and strengthen existing relationships.
Many classes and course focus predominantly on the more advanced side of the English language, and whilst this is a very important part of learning English to a fluent level, for the majority of everyday people, the ability to converse and communicate with other English-speaking people is the most important skill they wish to develop. That is what we will work on predominantly in my classes, before proceeding to the more advanced and technical skills and knowledge required to reach English fluency. When we begin learning how to ride a bike, none of us want 10 hours worth of technical knowledge thrown at us about how a bike works or the history of the bicycle......we want to get on the bike and have fun!
We will begin learning AND using these conversational English skills straight away, whilst also learning about the English culture too, which will play a key part in being able to understand English people at times. All of these will be conducted in a friendly, informative and fun environment, with interactive tasks and exercises designed to get you using and practising the language. Extra help and advice alongside these lessons will also be offered at no extra cost!
Please get in touch if you have any questions, or if you would be interested in booking a lesson!
