Before the first lesson, I suggest a call with the student to understand their aspirations, needs, interests and musical level. The first lesson will aim to launch the student onto a concrete musical project, to cement their motivation. After each lesson, the student will leave with a goal to achieve for the next lesson.

Prerequisites: after the 3rd course, you will need to purchase a FL Studio license for €99 (Belgian computer music software, internationally renowned).

About Me

Hello,

My name is Martin, an independent composer with expertise in a wide range of musical genres. My journey into music composition began at the age of 18, when I explored electronic music through Fruityloops, currently known as FL Studio.

My initial interest in electronic/techno music evolved in the face of rhythmic constraints and limitations in developing themes and melodies. This search for musical depth directed me towards classical music, during which time I began learning the piano.

My composition practice now takes place on FL Studio, drawing on renowned sound libraries such as EastWest's Platinum/Hollywood Orchestra and Spitfire's orchestral collection. I draw inspiration from iconic figures of classical music, such as Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, as well as Dvorak, Martinu, Stravinsky, Holst, Saint-Saëns, Grieg, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, among others.

I am proficient in piano, cello and guitar, and my compositional repertoire spans various musical styles, including 8bit/chiptune, electro, classical and rock, demonstrating my versatility and commitment to explore new musical avenues.
