Education suitable for everyone

We offer private or small group lessons for people of all ages.
The guitar or bass lessons are developed from the requests of the students who can bring the pieces of music they want to play, with or without adaptation to the level of this student.

The musical styles can be very varied: rock, French song, accompaniment, folk, etc ...
No prerequisites are required (no music theory), the useful theoretical notions are given from the chosen musical pieces.

Each year, we organize a great student show, which allows everyone, whatever their level, to get on the board in a friendly way and try their hand at showing the full extent of their talent!

About Me
Our school was born in 1987. Its social purpose is personal, social and civic development through culture. It pursues the achievement of this object by all means and in particular, without this enumeration being exhaustive, by the organization, production, co-production, promotion of shows, events, courses and training.

Our desires are:

Developing everyone's artistic potential
Living together and promoting conviviality through culture
Awaken curiosity about the link between artistic techniques and science

Our flagship projects are centered on 2 axes:

Courses, internships and training:

Music (guitar/bass/vocals/flute/harp/…) individual and collective
Techniques of Sound-Image and Journalism (Science infuse - radio course - Scribouillards project ...)
Artistic TeamBuilding – Bagpipe Workshop – theater courses
Coaching of groups with musical and theater-action tools

Organization of festivals and musical performances

Deliberate Festival
Sunday at Mimesis
Caf'conss' of the seasons
Various performances as musicians (Bal Folk - traditional music - New Orleans Jazz - folk / rock / French-English Blues ...)

For any additional information, do not hesitate to contact us on the website.

Courses and Training:

Graduated in Musicology, my specialization in Singing at the IMEP (Conservatory of Namur) and in accompanying music on the accordion led me after my studies to give singing lessons in a music school (Cap sur le Music in Kraainem), as well as musical awakening in different schools, via Les Jeunesses Musicales.
Being also an ethnomusicologist, I like to work with repertoires from other horizons, both singing and accordion.
Currently working part-time at Outhere Music (production and distribution house of classical and jazz music), I have the chance to discover on a daily basis a large quantity of various repertoires, likely here to be the subject of discoveries for the student, depending on their different future artistic aspirations.
Passionate about CVT (complete vocal technique) since 2021 and trained in postural and psycho-behavioural muscle chains (GDS method), my goal is to get the student to explore his vocal universe as broadly as possible, while increasing his body awareness with each lesson.

Approach & repertoire:

I attach great importance to body awareness, presence and movement, as well as the overall well-being of the student. Having also followed a training in Mindfulness, I like to mix a therapeutic approach with the artistic work accomplished with the student.
Starting from the student's musical desires and aspirations is also essential for me. I therefore aim for personalized support that respects its own achievement objectives.
My methodology aims at learning the technique through play and body movement, both for singing lessons and musical awakening.
No prerequisite in music is necessary (neither music theory nor other).

Musical Awakening for children (individual or semi-collective – from 1 to 6-7 years old):

With young children, I try to multiply awakening approaches using senses other than just hearing, both by learning gesture songs and rhythmic activities. The activities of dance or development of the ear by listening are of course omnipresent. I work on psychomotricity and seek to discover new instruments, as well as the different repertoires which are connected to them.
I work on several levels (passive and active) and different scales of difficulty according to ages and possible interactions in small groups, in order to anchor learning and awakening over time.
Breath work is also on the program.
