I have had more than ten years' experience teaching students from primary school through to adults in English Language, English Literature and Creative Writing. I have a first-class honours degree in Literature, an MA in Children's Literature and am a published and award-winning writer and love working with people of all ages to develop their skills and talents in these areas.

I can help you work towards standard qualifications such as GCSEs and A Levels or I can help you develop your skills more generally. Whatever your ambition, we can work towards it together. I can work either from my home in Oxford or online.

About Me

I am an experienced tutor in English, English Literature, Creative Writing and Spanish. I have worked with students of all ages, from primary school through to adults, and I have experience helping students with dyslexia and ADHD. My aim is to tailor each class to each student - we all learn better when we learn in the way that best suits us rather than in the way a school needs to teach us!
As well as working as a teacher, I am a published and award-winning writer, having had my debut novel published by UCLan in 2021 (The Haunting of Lindy Pennyworth) and various short stories performed and published by such organisations as the Charles Dickens Museum, the Maria Edgeworth Society, Theatre Cloud and Otranto House.
Additionally, I run storytelling and writing sessions with the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London, and the Museum of Oxford.

This class is for students who are both interested in English and Hindi grammar and also to get into the literature side of these languages. Starting with the grammar, we will slowly delve into the literature, from Classical to Contemporary and examine how language has changed over time. We will also try to analyze some of the major literature of various periods.

I specialize in tutoring French and Spanish. My goal is to make the students love languages and feel confident about it. I want to make them progress. The focus is to make the students realize that it is possible to learn languages. Beginners welcomed!

About me: Since obtaining my PGCE from Oxford University, I have spend the last three years working in an Outstanding rated secondary school in Oxfordshire as an English teacher. I have taught every year group (7-13) and carried responsibility for ensuring top grades in examination classes. A graduate of English Literature, I am currently undertaking a CELTA qualification to further hone my language skills!

I have worked in many institutions and I used to have my language organisation in Oxford before the pandemic. I hold a BA in Creative Writing from Brunel University (London), I’m a Latin American & Spanish Literature Teacher (Argentina) and I graduated from a MA in Modern Languages, Literature and Culture at King’s College London (London) where I have been awarded with both the Von Schlippenbach PGT bursary and the Cosmo-Davenport Hines Poetry Prize (2022). Additionally, I have a postgraduate course in Modern Languages at the University of Oxford (Oxford). My books, reviews, and collaborations appear in magazines, anthologies and literary projects from Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Germany, Bolivia, the US, Mexico, Chile, Spain, Bangladesh, India & the UK.
