Language courses (English and / or Spanish) for students with difficulties in class. Remedial lessons, homework help, practical conversation in the chosen foreign language.
Having been a teacher in French-speaking and Spanish-speaking countries and holding a Bachelor degree from New York University, I would be delighted to help students with learning difficulties in these 2 languages.

For the last few years, I've been working for a prestigious language agency in France. I have a lot of experience working with kids and teenagers. Each tutorial is geared around the needs of the individual child. Some children are visual learners, others are more tactile, while others still have difficulty focusing.

For beginner students, we work with visuals and then we do a lot of role playing, identifying the visuals we revised earlier. One of the games we play that kids love is The Grocer, where they sell or buy the items on display. We also play The Pub ( restaurant) and we use real menus and paper money. There's lots of signing and dancing, of course....

For the older kids, we work on things such as poetry, audio-skills by watching and discussing video clips, and lots more. I have one ESL student who is interested in literature and we tackled some of the easier classics like Hemingway. I also assign projects such as creating an English YouTube channel, a comic book series, cooking presentations, to name some of the best projects I've had over the years.

I have experience teaching through the net. In the past we've used Skype, since it's free (unlike zoom ). I've taught students as young as 9 through Skype.

You want to get back to English.
You want intensive speaking practice, focused on tenses.
You don't understand when to use the past tense or the present perfect.
The present perfect, what is it, already?

Discover the new course Les Cours sur Mesure, with Claire-Marie, at the Les Grands Gamins games bar, Paris 2nd (Châtelet / Les Halles). Sessions to practice oral English during which the trainer puts four trainees of equivalent level into situation thanks to board games and guides them in their speaking.

Each session is dedicated to the intensive practice of one of the tenses of English, the rules of the games are diverted so that the use of oral English is inevitable and systematic. A test to be carried out at home free of charge will determine your level.

As a trilingual language teacher (native Spanish, C2 level French, bilingual English), I offer personalized Spanish lessons for children, teenagers and adults, adapted to all levels (beginner to intermediate).

My courses are structured according to the CEFR levels and aim for the balanced development of skills: listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing, as well as grammatical accuracy and fluency.

Each session is tailored to the learner's specific needs: academic support, exam preparation, communication improvement, or professional development. I place particular emphasis on identifying errors, providing clear and structured feedback, and offering gradual support to build confidence and linguistic independence.

Thanks to my experience in teaching in France and online, I use a variety of resources (digital media, interactive activities, role-playing) to make learning dynamic, effective and motivating.
