French course, philosophy and art history - Paris

French course, philosophy and art history

From 26 £ /h

Hello everyone,

PhD student in art history and member of the André Chastel center, I have a history degree from the Sorbonne and a master's degree in letters / philosophy co-accredited by the École Normale Supérieure.

I offer private lessons in French, history and philosophy adapted to all levels. Defined during the first session in consultation with the student (and his parents), they will be readjusted according to the requirements of the program and the specific needs of each. Designed to be both serious and dynamic, these courses exploit the richness and interest specific to each discipline to allow you to progress easily and quickly.

Of course, it is always the student who, through his or her efforts, ends up overcoming the difficulties, but a few methodological clarifications, a targeted and motivating help or an enriching dialogue are often enough to start a virtuous circle of success and work.

In this period of epidemic, appointments can be made over distance, on Zoom, Skype or by phone.

Thank you for your attention and I hope to see you soon,

Malo

Recently graduated with a bachelor's degree from Pole Superieur Conservatory of Paris and Sorbonne University, I would like to teach French to foreigners (especially those whose native language is Albanian or English), living or working in Paris. I also have a DELF diploma in the French language (the one recognized by the state to study in any French university).
My goal is to keep students challenged and progressing while their living in the country.
I assign homework after every session and provide periodic progress reports.
I can teach from English or Albanian towards French

Hello !

In this course, I will be there to help you understand, learn and pass all your homework!
Don't worry, I've been there too. Sometimes, we come out of the course demotivated, because we have not captured anything. And it happens, the course is sometimes not very understandable!
Together, we'll go over everything you didn't understand.

The idea: To fold up these homework assignments, and realize that ultimately, it's not so unpleasant and difficult.

Bonus: I have a Master's degree in History from the most selective Master's program in France in this field. Even though I don't really like History that much!... So I'll show you my tricks.

These philosophy classes are destined to students who are in highschool or in their first three years of college. They contain help for completing homework (writing essays or commentaries), for studying and learning school classes efficiently, as well as advices on useful books to read and bonus exercices with their corrections.
The methodology for essays or commentaries is very rigorous in France and it can be hard to incorporate it in your work. This class will allow the students to understand this methodology clearly through repeated exercices and their corrections.

A former PhD student in philosophy, I have been giving private philosophy lessons for several years now. I specialize in phenomenology and the philosophy of science, but I have a fairly comprehensive knowledge of all philosophical topics.

Skilled in providing support following the baccalaureate method, I can also adapt to university profiles. In fact, I have already supported several students in writing their dissertations.

I am at your disposal for any further information!

This course will be divided into two main parts. The first will focus on methodology, teaching students how to write essays and text commentaries. The second will involve mastering the canonical authors of philosophy (Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Kant, Hegel, etc.). These two parts serve two purposes: first, academic success in high school, with a view to university applications; and second, validation of the philosophy subject for the baccalaureate exam.
