Each class has 1 hour and consists of musical education and piano practice. It's aimed at piano beginners and intermediates.

My student's satisfaction and fulfillment are my number 1 priority and I assure this by providing a personalised experience, considering student's learning pace, capabilities and objectives.

About Me

Ana is a 24-year-old Portuguese living in Portsmouth, UK.

She has studied piano since she was 4 years old and completed the 6th grade of the Luísa Todi Academy Vocational Music Course. In this course, Ana had learned the following subjects: Piano, Music Education; Orchestra; Music Composition Techniques; Music History.

Throughout her learning course, she has participated in quarterly piano auditions where she had the opportunity to share the knowledge acquired over the years. She has played for dozens of people pieces of music suitable for 8th graders.

Ana has started teaching piano in 2017 and has had 60+ students (from the age of 6 to 64 years old). During some of her students' first months, they were able to play Bach and compose their own music.

Education

Cello playing like any other instrument is physically challenging, so I incorporate exercises, breathing and movement into the sessions. If needed, I could also help pupils to find a ‘Cello.
They will be introduced to new techniques and simple melody arrangements of various styles in the early stages.
Grade Exam Training can be offered.

Easy Steps to Piano Playing - I introduce finger gym, breathing and hand coordination for every level.
This will prepare my pupils to manage chords helping to 'flesh out' essential harmony which tap into any musical style.

This class is for anyone who wishes to take up the violin for the first time, or who hasn't played for a while.
I tailor lessons to suit every student.
I teach everything from how to hold the violin, create a beautiful sound, alongside learning how to read music.
I would prefer to teach in person at the pupil's home, however I can teach via webcam if required.

For as long as I can remember, I loved music. I have successfully completed my BA degree and Mmus in Singing Performance

My passion for music started at an early age with piano lessons. which was the start of my academic path in music. I successfully completed my ABRSM Grade 8 exams both in piano and music theory. Theory of music was always a great interest of mine and the thought of passing my knowledge through tutoring excites me.

I am familiar with the long practice and study hours in order to achieve perfection. I have a very good knowledge of the piano ABRSM syllabus and feel very confident I can transfer this knowledge over to an interested student. I teach piano and theory of music based on the ABRSM syllabus, however, if the student wants to focus on a specific topic I am happy to do so. I am also a singing teacher in pop/jazz music.

I am a piano teacher who has taught over 25 students; you can learn with me online /come to my living room where my husband will be working and my dog will be sleeping. Classes can be one-to-one or group classes.

I played both cello and piano in chamber music groups, string Serenade and Concertos when I studied at the Cheltenham Ladies College.
