About Me

Hello everyone,
My name is Molly and I am 24 years old. I am a qualified teacher and my last class was in Year 2 (6 and 7 year olds). My job was to get them ready for their SAT tests and get them prepared for KS2 but we definitely had some fun along the way too.
I recently took a little break from teaching and went traveling in Australia. I worked as a nanny over there for two boys aged 6 and 8 who lived by Bondi Beach. They loved surfing, cricket, and running. What do you like to do in your free time? I love to play with my dog, go to the gym and eat pizza!
I believe that learning should be exciting and fun and I promise to help you with your learning. As long as you try your best that is all that matters!

Tutoring communication skills via the medium of the English Language. Practical communicating skills with English for speakers of another language.

This is practical lesson/course with emphasis on the spoken language. Everyday situation can be practised and experenced in the field.
Business language is a speciality of mine.

I cater for all ages and all levels.

Students needing support with their studies in GCSE English and A level English will be given one to one specialist help with lessons designed to work towards their particular exam board. Students will learn how to read and analyse a text effectively using subject specific terminology as well as improving their creative writing skills. This class will use a combination of useful worksheets to ensure knowledge of grammar and literary terms is improved as well as varied and interesting writing tasks. The reading material will be taken from exam board websites and as well as from set texts from all UK specifications and will always be challenging. Students will have work marked accurately and effectively by an examiner from the WJEC board and given feedback which will help the student to improve on existing skills.

With language being the most important form of communication, my services aim to help learners become articulate English speakers, readers and writers, whether English is their first language or not.
With 5 years experience of teaching children, teenagers and adults, I aspire to secure learners with sophisticated communication skills, essential to equip them for future studies and/or work.
I hold a PGCE in Secondary English as well as strong experience in teaching children and adults. I can teach academic English including at GCSE, A-Level and University level, as well as the English language for any learner who wants to become fluent.

I’ve taught and mentored since the age of 12 and then was employed in Sixth form by my School to tutor GCSE students at my school on core subjects.
