About Me

Being a professional singer myself, I have spent a lot of my career learning new skills and progressing my talent and understand the work it takes to be a working professional.

I have spent many years teaching individual students and groups both privately and as a part of performing arts schools. I have taught from ages 4 right through to 40+.

I love teaching students and helping them to develop their craft and unlock new skills to open up new opportunities. Nothing makes me happier than to see my students succeed and do well at what they love!

Since I was eight years old, singing has been and still is my favourite thing to do. I have been trained formally as a vocalist since the age of 10 studying music in the styles of classical, contemporary and jazz.

I have recently received a certificate for Level I of The LoVetri Institute for Somatic VoiceworkTM and will continue to gain credentials in this method of training.

Do you want to make your own mixtapes? Keep a playlist in your pocket at all times?

I can set you up to make your own tapes which play back perfectly, going through the basics of deck maintenance, speed calibration, belt changing, head alignment etc.

Conversely if you want to make a mixtape but you’re lacking the equipment, reach out for one session and I can do it on your behalf! Just provide the blank cassette!

I have just completed my music degree where I specialised in contemporary classical singing and opera. I have experience singing jazz, pop and musical theatre and have completed one year on a Vocal Studies course at a Music Conservatoire. I have Grade VIII in Violin and Classical Voice, Grade VI in piano and Pop and Jazz Vocals and recently achieved a 1st for my final degree recital and composition. The techniques that you gain from classical training can be applied to all genres and give a strong foundation to be able to perform any music you may be interested in. I studied music production at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) under the mentorship of King James Britt, and at Abbey Road in London. I am well versed in most audio software (Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro X), using all of these in a professional setting for over 5 years. Currently, I work as an audio engineer, mixing and mastering songs for clients as well as recording in major studios across the city, as well as working remotely for the studio that I started in Oxford (Lenka's Studios).

Music Composition is an invaluable practice, that requires both technical skills and creative aptitude.
