About Me

I am a friendly and patient science tutor with a strong academic background in Chemistry, Biology, and computational science. I enjoy helping students understand difficult scientific ideas in a simple and logical way rather than relying only on memorisation.

My lessons are interactive and adapted to each student’s level, learning style, and academic goals. I use clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, practice exercises, and exam-style questions to make Chemistry and Biology more understandable and enjoyable.

I welcome students who want to improve their grades, prepare for exams, strengthen their scientific foundations, or simply become more confident in class. I encourage students to ask questions freely and create a supportive environment where mistakes are considered part of the learning process.

Experience / Qualifications

I am currently completing a PhD in Chemistry, where I use molecular simulations and computational methods to study chemical systems and environmental materials. My research experience has strengthened my ability to explain scientific concepts clearly, analyse problems carefully, and connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

I also hold an Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling and have studied topics including physical chemistry, quantum chemistry, thermodynamics, molecular modelling, materials science, and data analysis.

During my academic career, I have presented scientific work, supported colleagues and students in understanding technical topics, and developed clear educational materials and presentations.

I also hold a Cambridge CELTA qualification with a Pass B, which provided professional training in lesson planning, student-centred teaching, explaining concepts clearly, checking understanding, and adapting lessons to different learners.

Lessons can be taught in English or Arabic and can be adapted for school students, university students, homework support, and exam preparation.
