About Me

Hi everyone! I’m Taylor, a tutor based in San Diego, CA. I’m a personable and patient tutor who loves getting to know my students and creating a comfortable, supportive environment where they feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace. I’m passionate about learning and especially enjoy helping students build confidence and recognize their own potential.

I have over two years of tutoring experience working with students in grades K–12. I’ve primarily helped students who need support catching up in class, completing homework, strengthening foundational skills, or better understanding challenging concepts. I’m also happy to teach new material for students who simply want to get ahead or explore a subject more deeply.

My favorite subjects to tutor are math and science, but I’m comfortable helping with a variety of subjects and academic needs. I tailor my approach to each student’s learning style and goals and am always happy to work with materials provided by the student or help determine what resources would be most useful.

My goal is not just to help students get through their assignments, but to help them understand the material, become more independent learners, and feel more confident in their abilities!
