About Me

I followed the teachings of Vitaly Samoshko at the conservatory of Gent for 3 years as well as Roberto Giordano at the IMEP. I am now studying classical piano at the Lemmens institute in Leuven with pianist Jan Vermeulen. I also started training in harpsichord at the Brussels Conservatory (KCB) with Bart Naessens. I come from the Russian school by my teachers for about ten years. It is a rigorous school but I recommend the human approach.

Violinist from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and the IMEP of Namur, I give violin lessons at all levels, all ages, from 5 years old for children.

With several years of experience in teaching the violin, my lessons are for everyone, whatever your desires. I adapt my method according to the wish as well as the age of the student, and starting an instrument as an adult should not be a brake.
Graduated in Musicology from La Sorbonne as well as from the ULB, I also offer support courses in Musical Training, History of Music and Analysis.

An instrument lesson usually lasts one hour. If necessary, I can cut the time between Violin and Musical Training / History.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!

Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.

My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. I offer piano lessons for beginners or experienced pianists (intermediate-advanced level)
Together we will address all facets of piano playing: touch, rhythmic accuracy, musicality, harmony... giving an important place to harmonic listening. Today, a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for teaching, I entered the Conservatory of Music very early on to learn piano and music theory: at the age of 6.

For a little over a year, I have been teaching children between the ages of 4 and 6. My lessons are presented as a fun musical awakening:
- know how to stand in front of a piano,
- hand positioning, fingering,
