Music theory can be taught at any age and is a great way to really understand music. Whether you are learning an instrument or want to try your hand at composition, music theory is the foundation to all things musical. Classe are fun and upbeat, using a lot of interactive methods of teaching. Classes are suitable for those with additional learning needs such as dyslexia, autism, ADHD and Down’s syndrome. Classes can be tailored towards sitting theory exams if desired or internal testing is available.

Im a classically trained singer (Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London 2005 MMus BMus (Hons). I have extensive performing experience as a soloist and with various ensembles in opera, oratorio, musical theatre, jazz and pop. I’ve sung for numerous celebrities as well as royalty both in the UK and abroad. From 2016-2021 I taught singing in the Royal Palace in Muscat for the Sultan of Oman.

I have 20+ years teaching experience covering all age groups but mostly focused on children and young adults.

I teach absolute beginners through to professionals.

I regularly enter students for ABRSM examinations with a 100% pass rate.

I have a holistic approach to teaching and offer a supportive atmosphere for learning and enjoying music making. I strive to ensure you get the most out of your lesson time and tailor my approach to the individual.
