About Me

I am currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels the Bachelor Piano with a great concert pianist, whose teaching ensures solidity and musical growth, which I want to share by transmitting my turn.
My background is quite unusual, since I started the Piano late at the age of 15, which is proof that age is not a limit to learning an instrument. At the same time, I followed other studies, at the faculty, in Law, in Japanese to finish in History where I validated a license. After that I felt the need to devote myself exclusively to the study of the Piano, studying at a higher education institution of music.
As far as the method is concerned, I am not adept at the scales and arpeggios worked daily to acquire a solid piano technique. I rather start from the principle that one must know how to use one's first instrument, that is to say one's body, understand it and be comfortable with it in order to achieve fluid play and to make beautiful sounds sound, the piano being a mirror, it will only give back what we have to offer.

Experience / Qualifications

I was lucky enough to know several piano teachers and to get their advice, most of whom were recognized concert players. This experience was decisive in my vision of the transmission of piano technique.
It's been four years since I gave piano lessons at home, to students of all ages, I gave lessons as well to a boy of 4 years to a woman of 60 years. This allowed me to significantly refine my pedagogy and especially to adapt according to the personality of each.

I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.
