I tailor my classes after the first lesson together, so that you can make the most of our time together. I make sure lessons are enjoyable, while still beneficial. As a Celta qualified teacher, I strive to focus on 2 main skills at a time: whether Reading and Vocabulary or Listening and Grammar. Speaking being the most important skill, it’s a vital component of my classes.
There are two crucial rules with me though: don’t be afraid of making mistakes, and have fun! Try it out!

About Me
I'm Camille, and I'm originally from the south of France. The love I've always had for English and travel has led me to work hard to become a teacher in order to share this passion. To polish my English, I went to school of languages and passed the Cambridge examination. This led me to become a teacher of English to adults and teenagers. I have been teaching in language schools in Malta for the last year, which provided me with a lot of experience and confidence.

Prior to the Pandemic, I was an apprentice jeweler in Malta. My English skills were greatly improved, as was my ability to communicate with clients and do marketing as a result of this experience.
Additionally, I spent three months volunteering in Kenya, teaching French, drawing, cooking, and reading to children. In addition to professional growth, it also provided me with a lot of personal growth
As soon as I completed my CELTA in February 2024, I began working in the EFL industry. I worked in Malta for one month as a trial employee from March till April. As the school failed to meet my expectations, I went to another school in Malta where I am still working at the moment. It is, however, my desire to travel and change my environment that has led me to seek out new opportunities.
Education
I finished school and I started to work as an apprentice jeweller straight away. I took on the CAE Exam in Edinburgh, directly followed by the CELTA. Since passing my CELTA in February 2024 in Edinburgh, I have been teaching in Malta, working with beginners and advanced learners, hosting students through the "Stay with a Teacher" program, and providing extra support. I also have experience giving private lessons and volunteering in Kenya, teaching French and other subjects to children. Now, I am seeking to expand my teaching into online teaching.

In addition to teaching teenagers and adults of various levels, I had to plan lessons, provide feedback, keep a good administrative record, and replace last minute absent teachers. I sometimes need to go through our files, syllabus and so on, correcting mistakes, printing new ones for the new year. I help my managers when needed.
Throughout the last six months, I've been hosting students at our school as part of a program called "Stay with a teacher". I provide breakfast, as well as two lessons and support throughout their stay.
