About Me
Hello! I'm Anna!
Tere! Mina olen Anna!
Здравствуйте! Меня зовут Анна!

I am a British cellist and cello teacher from London, UK, now living in Tallinn. I'm a graduate from two of the top music conservatoires in the UK and I have many years of teaching experience, meaning I can draw from a number of different methods. Overall, my lessons are fun and engaging for the students; I have high standards and I expect students to practise between lessons, but the hard work all pays off and students then enjoy the rewards that come from being able to play well. I love to play music collaboratively, so we will play duets together right from the start which gives an immediate sense of achievement to any beginner. I have started many beginners, both children and adults, and helped to prepare advanced students for exams and conservatoire auditions.

Learning to play the cello is a fun and rewarding activity for anyone of any age and and any ability! Connect with music on a deeper level as you learn to create the sounds yourself and experience the joys of making music with other people!

I have over ten years of experience teaching everyone from children to adults, from those who are complete beginners to those who are already at an advanced level. I have helped students to prepare for exams and conservatoire auditions and also taught those who just want to learn for fun and without the pressure of deadlines and exams. I integrate basic music theory into all beginner lessons and can also offer separate music theory classes up to and including ABRSM Grade 5 level if so desired.

I studied in the UK and graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with a Masters degree and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with a Bachelor's degree, and I also have an Associate of Trinity College London diploma in instrumental teaching.

Come and join me and we will explore the beautiful world of the cello together!
