The violin is a sensitive instrument. To feel closer to the instrument many years of thought and practice are needed. I have made research about how physical modifications can affect performance and also participated in a course for better teaching methods.

I can teach beginners to advanced conservatory students. With beginners, I have an excellent book to start with which will be studied with the other common violin books (such as Suzuki, Schradiek, Kaiser, and so on...).
For amateurs and violin majoring students who might have pain while practicing and discomfort with the violin, I am specialized in finding what the reason for the discomfort/pain is, what modifications can be performed, how to find the most comfortable and efficient posture, and explain all these changes with logical explanations.

About Me

I have done my bachelor's in South Korea and finished my master's in the Netherlands in Tilburg. Currently, I am working with the Brabant Chamber Orchestra as concertmaster and do projects with many other ensembles.
I have had many troubles with playing the violin, bad habits, stage anxiety due to tension, day-to-day big condition ranges, and so on. And now with confidence, I can promise you with over 20 years of analyzing, I can help each student with individual approaches and make a big change to the performance.

A beginner level in English. We can start with Alphabets and Numbers depending on the students' level. This includes pronunciation and components of sentences and phrases. Intermediates students will receive guidance on reading, writing, and listening. If you'd like more focus on a specific thing then we can also work on that together!

FOR ONE IT GOES A LITTLE FASTER, WHERE IT SOMETIMES NEEDS A LITTLE MORE TIME FOR THE OTHER. OF COURSE IT MAY ALSO BE THAT YOU ARE A LITTLE LESS OF THE CLASSICAL MUSIC AND YOU WANT TO EXPLORE THE POP SCENE, BUT YOU CAN OF COURSE STICK TO THE CLASSICAL MUSIC. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE

MUSIC IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE, SO THAT'S WHY IT'S CUSTOMIZED.

For children from 2 to 8 years old I use the colorstrings method. This method ensures that the student practices each level equally efficiently and the hearing is stimulated and stimulated to work, in addition to training the reading work. Want to start playing the violin, work towards a profesional career or learn to play just for fun? Every reason to want to play the violin is a good one, and everyone is welcome to come learn with me!
These violin lessons will be carefully tailored to each student, considering level, goals and availability to practice at home. The lessons will be focused around classical music, but I am always open to help students explore other genres as they wish. Ensemble playing is a very important part of music learning, and I will do everything I can to facilitate an opportunity for students to be able to play music with other people. The lessons will be supplemented with music theory and history, to not only give an ability to play the violin but to also give the student a well rounded understanding and appreciation of the music. Lessons can be in English, Spanish, Norwegian or Dutch.
