I'm a South African, now living in Tokyo. I have a dual-major degree in Drama and Linguistics from Rhodes Univeristy in South Africa. I also have a CELTA certification, which trained me to teach English to second language learners.

In a lesson with me, I will listen to what your needs are and I will create a
lesson that suits you. I want to make learning English something interesting for you.

For example, some people just want to talk and practice conversation. I'd love to discuss what you're interested in. Some of the things I like are music, games, movies, and traveling. Or, you can tell me about what you like and we can teach each other. I'll also take notes to help you practice on your own - things like difficult words and vocabulary.

Other people need English for special reasons. So if you need help with writing emails, speeches, homework, or anything like that, I'd be happy take a look.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above.

You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland.
