Hello Everyone ! My name is Camelia, I am 29 Years old. I speak English,German, Italian,Spanish and Greek fluently. I have been tutoring English, German and Spanish for more than 5 years in schools across England . I'm very enthusiastic and motivated to help you in your language learning and improvement. I believe conversation is very important to acquire the necessary skills to talk in the language you choose to learn. I have experience in learning a new language so I know ways to help you depending on your needs. I love to teach different languages, is one of my passions. I am very happy here in Tokyo, every day I am discovering new places and things to do. Japan is an amazing country and I am fond of Japanese people. Regarding The Language Lessons. According to our first encounter and your English level I can cater exactly for what you need. My goal is to build confidence in my students in order to speak more. The more your practise the faster you'll learn. I like to be very casual during my lessons. It's not a strict atmosphere. Let's have fun and enjoy learning together :) The duration could be 60, 90 or 120 minutes, is up to you. We can arrange to meet in a bar/cafeteria, in your place or in my place. If you want to learn from the basics as to vocalize and pronounce correctly, I can help you and I bet that in a short time you can keep conversations flowing. In my classes I use ppt, images, videos, music and various exercises to make the lesson more entertaining.

I specialise in teaching English including the four pillars: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. I particulary like students who are self-motivated and who are keen to learn. I aim to keep the lesson at your level with gradual small challenges to ensure your level gradually improves. I shall set homework IF you feel up to the challenge. I hold three university degrees and TESOL qualifications.

Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
