The course takes place in 3 major stages: verification, consolidation and deepening. First of all, a series of questions and answers to determine the shortcomings of the student on the previous courses, the subjects that he did not understand well. Then, personalized exercises of direct application of the course will be proposed with a follow-up at the writing level. Finally, depending on the progress and difficulties of the student, I can propose deepening exercises where the student will have to work independently for 5 to 10 minutes then I will question him on his reasoning and try to make him understand why he did not succeed or how he could improve his work by giving him tips and tricks.
Every lesson and the corresponding work will be noted to follow the evolution of the student.
I have already followed two high school students during 2 years, for them to achieve the baccalaureate and to have the university the wanted.

A lively and laid back approach to a foreign language!

Discover French through discussion with a native and specialist of French History and language. There is a lot to learn about everything French and I would happily support your oral practice whilst providing you with a personalised insight of my national culture.

We can chat out of the blue or discuss a piece of French poetry, music, philosophy, art... a political or historical event... anything is possible!

I am extremely keen on history and language (it is my job). But I am also very interested in Politics, Economy, Sociology, Arts...

As a generalist, I can provide my interlocutor with any topic they wish to deepen. My French has been regarded as exquisite by my professors at University and I have no accent (though I can imitate a lot of our regional ones ;) ).

French class to get started with speaking and interacting in French with a native speaker who has lived in french speaking family, french speaking friends in bars , cafe. The course will focus on being able to interact fast with other french speaking.
We'll cover the basis to make you confident to interact in French.

If you are looking to improve your grades or to prepare for an exam or simply to challenge yourself with a new language this will be perfect for yourself.
We will do a diagnose exam to see what is your level and start from there. The pace on how fast you want to improve is up to you. Homework will be just for preparation of especial classes and/or for tests or exams.

Mathematics/Physics/Statistics can be challenging topics to understand. Many also find the topics boring, making learning even harder.

But it doesn't have to be like that!

The reason why people find it boring is because teachers do not know how to make it interesting. This makes the student not curious about the subjects, which makes learning feel like a lot of work! However, with a Masters in Mathematics and Physics (University of Manchester, UK), and years of tutoring experience, I have learned that there is a way to teach that uses the individual's curiosity as fuel for learning. Not only will they understand the topics, but they will also naturally see how useful these topics are!

I will combine what you are curious about with the topics you are trying to learn. In this way, you will understand something you are passionate about, using concepts you need to learn (for example, to pass an exam).
