About Me

I enjoy teaching those who are curious about sound and music. My own curiosity about sound and music is as strong today as it ever was and I love music very much. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with others.

I am a patient and easy-going person. I like to create an environment in which the student feels able to feel creative. I have thought a lot about the mechanics of string playing and I enjoy finding ways to communicate this information when necessary. I also feel that it is important that playing music is fun.

I think that learning to read music is an important foundation and an invaluable tool. I am also well-versed in music theory and I like to share this side of the subject as we go along.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.

My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music.
No experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music.
Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch.

I am a Greek violinist, originally from Thessaloniki. I have lived in Vienna since 2009 and completed my studies at the MUK Private University in the class of Lidia Baich. Before that, I studied at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow.

It's especially important to me to offer my students the opportunity to experience music and express themselves in this beautiful language during lessons. Since I myself come from the Russian school, the basic principles of the violin are combined with beautiful sound, expressiveness, and a musical character. And, of course, humor is a must!

I am an Italian pianist, I graduated at F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. I offer piano accompaniment to instrumentalists and singers. Being Italian my native language, I may support singers with pronunciation for the Italian Opera repertoire. Aside having a large experience in accompanying vocalists, I have an extensive background in chamber music, I have performed several times in Duo, Trio, Quintet, and I have accompanied string players for auditions, competitions and masterclasses in many different occasions. In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms.
