My name is Denise and I am a professional singer and vocal coach with a Master’s degree in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).

I have over 10 years of teaching experience in Europe and Latin America, working with students from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds in private lessons, artistic projects, and educational contexts.

My artistic work includes early music and chamber repertoire, as well as Latin American folk, jazz, and contemporary crossover styles. This diversity strongly informs my teaching approach, which is flexible, stylistically open, and based on healthy vocal function.
Extra information
My main focus is the development of a free, efficient, and healthy voice.

Each lesson is individually adapted, but usually includes:

-breath coordination and body awareness
-vocal technique and resonance development
-ear training and musical listening skills
-interpretation and stylistic guidance
-repertoire work based on the student’s interests

My approach combines technical clarity with awareness-based training, supporting both beginners and more advanced singers.

The first lesson serves as an introduction and vocal assessment. We explore your voice, your current habits, and your personal goals in order to define a clear and realistic direction for your vocal development.

Vocal training is understood as a process of gradual refinement. Consistency over time is essential for sustainable progress.

Who the lessons are for?

Lessons are open to all levels and ages, and especially suitable for:

-beginners who want a safe and structured introduction to singing
-students interested in artistic expression and musical awareness
-international and multilingual students

No previous experience is required.

Lessons are available in English, Spanish, French, and German.

Online lessons are available internationally.
In-person lessons are available in Vienna.

The goal of my teaching is to help each student develop a safe, expressive, and authentic voice in a supportive and structured environment.

Whether in singing or Spanish language learning, I emphasize clarity, practical understanding, and confidence-building through step-by-step development.

I have experience working with students from very diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, and I particularly enjoy supporting international learners.

Who I work with:

Dear student / Querido alumno:

My name is Denise. I am a Mexican Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) teacher certified by the Escuela Internacional Cervantes and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from the University of Nuevo León (UANL, Mexico).

I began tutoring Spanish at an early age, initially helping classmates improve their academic performance, and later formalizing my teaching practice during my university studies.

For the past seven years, I have been teaching Spanish in both America and Europe, working with children, teenagers, and adult learners in academic tutoring, in-company training, online instruction, and professional language support.

My teaching approach is structured, adaptive, and goal-oriented. Lessons are designed according to the student’s level and specific objectives, with a clear focus on progress and consistency.

Students receive guided practice, exercises, and curated learning materials as part of their learning process. I work with a variety of resources, including textbooks, videos, podcasts, and newspapers, depending on the learning goal.

Depending on your needs, we can focus on grammar, academic Spanish, professional communication, or structured conversational practice with topics such as culture, arts, politics, and society.

I invite you to contact me so we can define your learning goals and build a consistent study plan together.

Denise

I am a singer, vocal coach, and music therapist, and I have been teaching singing for 24 years. I studied classical singing, musical theatre singing, and music education at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, graduating with a Bachelor's degree 26 years ago. As a classical singer, I have performed at venues including the Vienna Musikverein (Great Hall and Glass Hall), in the New York opera production of The Magic Flute, and at Stuppach Castle, among others. As a pop singer, I released my own album 10 years ago (ELIEM), and our songs have received radio airplay. I can also teach you how to compose your own pop songs, how to sing well into a microphone, and how to accompany yourself on the piano. I have 24 years of teaching experience in classical, musical theatre, and pop singing at various music schools and with the Vienna Boys' Choir. Having also studied Indian music therapy in India, I place great emphasis on the therapeutic aspect of singing. I also teach Indian music therapy. You can find more information on my website (feelharmony.net). Among other things, you can learn the following from me: healthy breathing techniques, expanding your vocal range, singing with a microphone, and various vocal techniques: classical, baroque, musical theatre, and pop. I studied therapeutic singing and Indian music therapy in India 21 years ago and also teach these subjects. Therapeutic singing can help release anxiety, insecurity, grief, and inner restlessness. Indian music therapy is particularly helpful for nervousness, ADHD, burnout, and chronic fatigue.
