I have 10 years of experience, a sense of pedagogy, and above all a lot of patience! In general, the course takes place in 2 stages: first we (re) explain the lesson to be understood, then we validate the knowledge through exercises, of increasing difficulty. If the student has homework to do, a support (DM to return or control to review), we rely on it to teach the course. Otherwise, we work on the points where I believe the student has gaps. I have a very good feeling with the students, and I have always managed to put them at ease and in confidence. The course takes place in a studious, but serene atmosphere. I am a mathematics teacher and I offer additional hours for private tutoring in scientific disciplines. These courses are primarily aimed at middle and high school students in Geneva, whether they attend private or public schools, as well as adults who have passed this level but wish to refresh their knowledge for professional purposes.
Generally, I can begin tutoring within three days of your request. I travel throughout the canton of Geneva using the TPG public transport system, and travel expenses are included in my rates. For long-term support, I can also provide exercises to complete between sessions, which I will correct at home. I am fluent in English for English-speaking students. I am available after my regular teaching hours and also during school holidays and breaks.

I offer private tutoring at home for all levels, from primary school to high school. A typical session consists of the following steps:

-Reviewing the student's course materials, with answers to any questions.
-Correction of teacher's exercises or specific exercises depending on the student's difficulties.
-Preparation for possible student assessments using formative assessments that I have developed, targeting the student's difficulties.

Everything is tailored to each student using fun and engaging methods. Learning while having fun is not impossible!

I graduated from teaching seven years ago, after a masters in physical sciences with honors, and I teach in college and high school since.
