Beatboxing is a relatively unknown discipline, even though it allows for an absolutely incredible musical variety: percussion, whistles, bass, special sounds straight out of an alien movie... our body is an instrument in itself, and learning beatbox is accessible to everyone! (Take a look at some beatboxer videos online, you'll be amazed!) I'll take you step by step, starting with easy and useful sounds, gradually moving towards impressive, fun sounds, or those of your choice. In addition, I practice with you and complete your knowledge of music theory and particularly rhythm when necessary. The course method, inspired by the Agostini school (French method used in French and Belgian academies and conservatories) is divided between technique and drums. At the rate of one session each we will focus once on technique and movements outside the drums (on pads) and the other time on the drums and the application of technique and movements. -> The technique lessons and the movements will be those of the so-called 'Moeller technique' that I learned through his direct lineage of student. -> The drum lessons are greatly inspired by the pedagogy of the M.A.I. (Music Academy International - Nancy (fr)) and in particular that of Richard-Paul Morellini, renowned instructor. The courses are complete, in-depth but above all specifically thought of to be progressive. They are suitable for children from 7 years old as well as adults of all ages. => Particular attention is paid to the movements and their correct application, to the total independence of the limbs and finally to an understanding of the rhythm and its theory.
