I am a professional linguist and teacher. I graduated from Portland State University ( Portland, Oregon, USA) with a B.S. in Psychology/Sociology, with minors in communications and applied linguistics. I also graduated from the intensive Russian course at the US government Defense Language Institute (DLI) in order to serve as a government translator/interpreter in Europe. For over 30 years, I have been using my skills and knowledge to help people communicate, learn, change habits, build solutions, and achieve their goals. I have taught English in several foreign countries as well as in the USA to immigrants and I have taught remedial English to Americans with communication problems. Since 2010, I have taught English full-time, online and offline, to thousands of students of all ages and levels in 40 different countries. To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.
