About Me

My name is Miguel, I am 33 years old, and I am originally from Barcelona, Spain. I hold a degree in Spanish and English Linguistics from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, and I specialize in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), with more than six years of experience in this field. Throughout my career, I have obtained various certifications that support my pedagogical training, including the official Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) teacher certification and TEFL, which also qualifies me to teach English.

With over ten years of experience in the educational field, I have had the privilege of teaching students of different ages and profiles. My experience spans from teaching in primary and secondary schools to language academies and private tutoring. I have worked with students ranging from 3 years old to adults, and I am fully proficient in all language levels, from A1 to C2. This wide range of experience allows me to adapt my classes flexibly, responding to the specific needs and objectives of each student.

One of my areas of expertise is preparing students for international exams. I have extensive experience helping students prepare for the DELE exam (Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language), both in its general versions and its specific versions for different contexts. Additionally, I have worked with students preparing for international English exams such as IGCSE, IB, IB Ab Initio, and the HKDSE. My approach is always personalized, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each student to optimize their performance on the exam.

My teaching approach is based on a communicative method and the use of authentic materials that allow students to develop their language skills in a dynamic and realistic way. In addition to exam preparation, I offer tailor-made courses for students who wish to learn Spanish for specific purposes, such as business, travel, or everyday situations. My name is Santiago and I am offering individual and personalized virtual English classes to improve both your oral and written communication. I am a graduate, graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in the USA. Having learned English as a child at the Ivy Thomas Memorial School in Uruguay, and lived a year and a half in Thailand, followed by 4 years in the USA I acquired great knowledge and fluency in the English language.

In Thailand I spent a year and a half studying communication arts, which helped me, prepare for my studies in the US.
