My name is Michelle, I am a California native that has been teaching ESL for 9 years now. I began working in Spain in an elementary school prior to 2020. After 2020, I decided it would be best to branch out on my own and I have been teaching private one-on-one English lessones ever since. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ...
