Lourdes - Argentina£36
Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Lourdes. I teach you how to analyze your research data and properly write the results. I also teach statistics classes to students of any level. I like to use statistical programs, but I can also teach you how to solve calculations step by step as you need. I can help you solve your data problems in two ways: The first, I can guide and support you in data analysis, visualization and presentation of results for theses, research projects, conferences and webinars. To do this, I need to know the objectives of your research, your hypotheses and that you describe the data you took, what you measured and how you measured it. With this we make a work plan that will allow us to tell stories with your data to achieve your research objectives. The second is to give you lessons on a statistical topic that you need to learn. In that case, you must send me the material with the exercises to solve, so that I can prepare your class. If you don't have material, I can provide it to you, recommend readings, videos and explain everything you don't understand in an online class. I am a planned person, serious and committed to my work, I like to provide the student with the best help to achieve their objectives, not only how to do the calculations, but also how to understand and interpret the results. The most important thing is that I adapt to your level, I can explain to someone who already knows some statistics, as well as to people who are starting from 0. I have more than 20 years of experience in descriptive statistics, t tests, Normal, ANOVA, repeated measures ANOVA, ANCOVA, simple and multiple linear regression, logistic regression, Cox regression, multivariate methods such as Principal Components, Factor Analysis, Simple and Analysis of Multiple Correspondences, Discriminant Analysis, Kaplan-Meier Survival, using Excel, VassarStats, SPSS, JASP, Jamovi or PAST. I also have experience designing dashboards in both Power BI and Google Looker Studio.

Trusted teacher: Are you having difficulties analysing texts, poems and prose in your IGCSE English, IB English Literature or IB LangLit course? Are you ready to commit an hour every week over the summer to get that 6 or 7 and get into the university of your dreams? Then this is the course for you! From helping you master the general techniques of literary analysis and teaching you how to compare literary works to answer exam questions on character development, theme and techniques, my course will provide you with all the tools and knowledge you need to dazzle even the most demanding IB examiner. The combination of my passion for writing prose and poetry and my deep understanding of IB marking criteria thanks to great teachers and thoughtful research means that I am uniquely placed to not only explain what your answers were lacking, but also show you how thinking like a writer can help you dramatically improve your answers. Following a thorough discussion of your individual needs in our first class, I will create for you an engaging but exam-focused programme drawing on my 3-year experience as a tutor and using interactive teaching platforms. Through my course, you will get access to a vast library of resources (at no extra cost) - from official IB textbooks and past papers to teacher guidance - to help you perfect both your analytical and essay-writing skills. And if English is your second language, I will show you what to focus on in your learning so that you could write better than Shakespeare! Are you ready to turn the page on disappointing grades in the past? Then contact me today!

I have been now learning French with Olivia for almost 2 months. It's an unique experience not only to study a beautiful language, but also exchange knowledge about cultures, cuisine, traditions, travels and many other things. Olivia is truly passionate about teaching French and has a very open and pleasant personality. She is always eager to help with any questions and stimulate people to start speaking French. I always enjoy my lessons with her! She is also available on Skype, so now worries if you travel a lot ;-)

It’s 45 years since I either studied or spoke Spanish and I am delighted to have met such a personable tutor who I feel will really help me regain the confidence to use the language again. Javier was keen to know what I wanted to get out of the lessons so that he could meet those requirements. He has suggested a structure tailor made to my needs. This is exactly why I didn’t enrol in an evening class as I feel working with an individual tutor will help me improve much more quickly.

Sebastián

Sebastian's been a solid precalc tutor. He's patient and breaks down stuff in a way that makes sense, which is a big win for me because precalc used to be a total headache. He's always got my back, making sure I'm getting it, and he doesn't mind repeating stuff if I need it. Thanks to him, precalc's starting to feel less like a foreign language and more like something I can actually handle. If you're struggling with precalc like I was, Sebastian's your guy.
