Neuroscientist helping you understand complex topics and motivation to learn in an open and fun space, considering each one's unique styleTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I provide tutoring in various subjects including Psychology and Biology, and if interested in my methodology but in another subject, contact me and we can discuss that. I believe each student is capable of learning anything! if it is taught in an interesting way that engages the student, trying to understand the complexity of the topics will come easily. I take each individuals learning strategy first in order for me to create a structure of tutoring that benefits the student before myself and takes the deadline into consideration (if there is one). I advocate time management and planning when studying so this will always be at the forefront of my lessons. I am a neuroscientist who works with children in education settings, especially helping students who are vulnerable or disengaged. If demotivation is something you are struggling with while studying, I can help you find ways around that too. My lessons are an accepting and open space. I welcome all people and curate my lessons for people with neurodivergence or learning difficulties too. I can provide private tutoring to all ages. I am familiar with the IB system and can provide guidance and explanations to university students as well. , in English and Swedish and Arabic. I am a funny?, compassionate, curious and creative person who believes anyone and everyone can learn and get good grades and accomplish their desired goals. My main focus is always to motivate and build confidence in students so that they can do it all by themselves, because once you have belief in your confidence and knowledge in your hands, you can face any challenge and achieve positive results.

PhD Candidate in Music at the University of Cambridge teaching Essay and Dissertation SkillsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Approach to Teaching – I favor a structured approach. I devise lesson plans in advance of every lesson, catering to the student's specific needs. – Academic lessons tend to be structured around specific sections of the syllabus, or particular topics that students require help with. – I employ a seminar-style format. I flesh out ideas with the aid of quotations, other audio-visual resources, and analytical commentary. I structure my lesson plans with a view to providing gaps, in which students are able to ask questions about the content. I am also happy for students to interrupt the flow of the lesson if a burning question arises. – I use Powerpoint to provide students with a variety of resources and visual stimuli. Lesson Structure – Academic lessons tend to be 45 minutes to an hour in length, but I can adapt my teaching schedule to provide students with additional support if needed. – Typically violin lessons range in length from 30 minutes to an hour, but I am flexible: I am more than happy to devise a lesson structure that caters to a student's requirements. Academic Credentials – I am a candidate for a Ph.D. in Music at the University of Cambridge. – I hold an MPhil in Music from the University of Cambridge, where I specialized in Historical Musicology and Musical Aesthetics. – I have a first-class music degree (74.4%) from the University of Manchester, where I won three Hargreaves Prizes for Academic Achievement. – I have worked as an Assistant Music Teacher, which involved teaching Music A-Level students. Professional Credentials – I have worked as a private violin teacher for 7 years (since I was 17). I have taught a variety of students, from beginners starting their instrumental training to more advanced performers looking to improve their technical facility and performance skills. – I have an extensive portfolio of performing credits on documentary films. Recent highlights include the BAFTA-nominated score for the BBC docuseries on Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein 'House of Maxwell' (BBC2, 2022), and 'Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In' (Netflix) (Passion Pictures / Universal Pictures) (2021). – I have extensive experience as an orchestral musician and chamber music performer. I led the University of Cambridge Experimental Music Ensemble (CUEME) when I was studying for my master's degree at the University of Cambridge. I also led the University of Manchester Chamber Orchestra in the second year of my undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester and premiered a good deal of new music with The Eskandari String Quartet. – I have performed at the West Road Concert Hall (University of Cambridge), the Lee Tseng Hall (Wolfson College Cambridge), the Buxton International Festival, the Manchester International Festival, and Bridgewater Hall. – I achieved a distinction (92%) in my ATCL Diploma in violin performance, and a First (78%) in the final violin recital of my undergraduate degree. Expected Ability of Students – Academic level: Beginner through to GCSE, A-Level, and Undergraduate Music and History of Philosophy

Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a thorough knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for middle and high school (from 6th to 12th grade). I am also qualified to support students in preparing for international exams such as the SAT, the OMPT, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in all its variations: Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) and Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL). Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. It is a true pleasure to see them progress and rediscover their connection with the fascinating world of mathematics. I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

I started my lessons with Giorgia four months ago, and I am so glad to have found her. As a 26-year-old beginner, I was not sure if I should even try to pursue learning an instrument at this point. But now I am so glad I did! I am learning online, and I was a little unsure of how lessons via webcam would go. Despite my prejudice, everything turned out great, even though my setup is quite basic. Her approach to teaching is very creative. She is able to explain things that seem hard to put into words, and she always finds comparisons and descriptions that convey clearly little details of approach that make a lot of difference in the end result. For any difficulty I encountered, she presented methods of exercise that helped correct it. Another thing that I appreciate is that from one lesson to the next, the volume of work is challenging enough that I feel I am making progress, but not to the point that I am overwhelmed. Also, even though I am just beginning and the pieces are not that complex, she explains the musical interpretation in a way that not only helps me advance my skill but also enriches the way I understand and listen to music, and I find great value in that. Her manner of teaching is very organic, and she is a patient teacher with a warm presence. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons!

Benoit is friendly and patient and has a good sense of when to challenge and when to take a step back. My son, who is 8, really likes his lessons very much. He loves math, especially working with big numbers, and at school it isn't always possible to work on calculations as he would like. After few lessons he already learned new techniques for calculations he likes to experiment with and Benoit also managed to challenge him to try some new and more advanced things. I think this type of lessons is more tricky to prepare, at least until the teacher gets to know well the capacities and character of the child, as there are not based on the child's curriculum or homework to be done. Benoit is always open to discussion and if my son finds something too challenging, they take a step back and try another way or just agree to try another time when my son feels ready for it.

Teacher Raef, is an experienced teacher. My son enjoyed his first online lesson today with Teacher Raef. He’s a very dedicated teacher, dedicated towards his students learning needs and supports. Teacher Raef clears all doubts related to the topic instantly and with great clarity. He guides the student in each and every steps with patience and understanding. The best part of Teacher Raef is that he always encourages the student with his positive attitudes. This develops a sense of confidence in the pupil. Thank you Teacher Raef for your support and guidance to my son!!
