I hold a Master of Arts with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, as well as a Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honors from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have an LRAM in teaching and have studied the Kodaly method for many years throughout my undergraduate degree. I am a teacher at the Stewart Bilingual School, as well as cover teaching in various schools for Camden Music Service. I have coached chamber music and taught violin for Royal Conservatoire Summer Schools Courses. I would describe myself as a highly adaptable teacher, able to implement various teaching strategies in order to tailor my teaching style to the needs of each student. I am friendly, positive and motivating, as well as being empathetic and encouraging. I believe it is important for younger students to learn that with work comes reward - a lesson that can be transferred to all walks of life.

I am an award-winning violinist based in SE London, currently completing my Bachelor degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. My teaching methodology is based on an individual approach to each student. I always try to combine working on technique and basic theoretical knowledge (to understand the music better) with showing the beauty of music. Every student has different needs, therefore I can help with both preparing for various kind of exams or just learning how to play for fun and pleasure. I am a positive and patient person. I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level. I am studying violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).
