I'm Dzvenyslava and I will teach your kids to play the violin. I always knew I would become a professional musician. My love for music carried me through a children's music school, a music college and an academy. From personal experience, I understand the emotions and difficulties children can go through while learning to play the violin. I believe that everyone can play the violin and do it quite well. Sharing my skills with young violinists brings me inspiration and satisfaction. My teaching experience includes: ● 30 years of teaching in a music school and music college; ● about 50 graduates; ● private lessons in class and online; ● heading the violin ensemble; ● my students regularly perform in the Philharmonic with a chamber orchestra; ● my students have won local and national violin competitions many times.

I am a singer and a vocal coach with 18 years of experience in both performing and teaching. I have been coaching children and adults, both amateurs and professionals, in various settings: music schools, academies, theatre workshops and privately. My main subject is classical singing, but I can help with any style of singing, from jazz, pop to musical theater. My teaching method is easy and fun. I have been teaching for over three years, both in person and online, with students’ ages ranging from 4 to 48 years old, and enjoyed helping them move towards their dream, whether it is to be able to play a tune from their favourite song, or a classical concerto. She was the baroque strings coach at the inaugural edition of the Novi Sad Baroque Academy, where she presented a mixture of teaching methods incorporated with historically informed performance practice. In October of 2021 she joined the Herne Hill Music Studio in London as one of their tutors. She enjoys teaching students of all levels and ages, and is always willing to exchange knowledge, seeking new exciting and productive ways of learning. She has explored educational psychology, as well as Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique, visualization and different teaching schools. Having studied 2nd-study piano at her music college as a compulsory requirement, she is able to guide children to take ABRSM graded piano music exams too. The students’ happiness, acquisition of new knowledge and musical improvement are the most important things to her. VIOLIN AND/OR MUSIC THEORY LESSONS When I begin teaching an individual, I make sure that I inspire them and teach them the value and beauty of music. I am very thorough about teaching technique properly so that it will last and be an asset in one's musical future, but I still like to keep my students on their toes and excited about actually making music and adding life to the notes they draw out of their instruments. Each individual is different and has different goals they wish to achieve with their playing, thus, for me it is very important to establish a connection with my students and cater each lesson to their specific needs and learning style. I have had the pleasure of sharing my love of music with musicians of all ages ever since I began teaching the violin in 2014. I teach both young and mature students, focusing my energy on private lessons. I have also had the opportunity to work with groups of young children at summer programs in collaboration with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.

I am a violinist and traveling teacher. I have played the violin for many years in several orchestras. The violin rep to me is the most amazing beautiful sounds that have been created. I love to teach students from the very beginning to help them achieve a good technique and musical ear. Since obtaining a BMus (Hons) Degree in 2012, Rhiannon has worked as a freelance violinist internationally with companies such as Burberry & Polydor Music, with orchestras by the likes of BBC concert Orchestra & Nu Civilisation Orchestra, at venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall & Ronnie Scotts, in studios including Elstree Studios & BBC Maida Vale Studios, and in festivals including the EFG London Jazz Festival, WOW Women of the World Festival & Crossing Borders Festival in the Netherlands. Rhiannon has experience playing a wide range of genres from working with award-winning artists including Jess Glynne (Pop), Anna-Jane Casey (Theatre), Anne-Sofie Von Otter (Opera), Isabella Melodies (Gospel) & Le Gateau Chocolat (Cabaret). She is the proud Youth Ambassador for the company Black Women In Arts, lead violinist of Tomorrow's Warrior's String Ting, lead violinist of the Nu Civilisation Orchestra, and leads the affiliate orchestra to Jazz Jamaica All-Stars. Rhiannon and is currently doing a Masters in Jazz Violin Performance at Guildhall School of Music. Rhiannon an experienced teacher currently teaching for Tri-Borough Music Hub. She spent 7 years teaching in two top preparatory schools in London, and also taught jazz and improvisation at the Southbank Centre for Tomorrow's Warriors to adults. She has given masterclasses at venues including the Southbank Centre and Rich Mix, and led multiple masterclasses as part of the Yehudi Menuhin Centenary Week in 2016. I devise lesson plans in advance of every lesson, catered to the student's specific needs. – Violin lessons tend to be carefully planned to focus on specific technical aspects of performance. The outline of my typical lesson consists of scales, a study and a piece. This creates a solid technical foundation while also expanding the students repertoire. Depending on the student’s goals, I can also incorporate aural/ sight reading practice into the lesson to move onto the ABRSM or Trinity syllabus to prepare for graded exams.
