Danny - Antwerp, Belgium£31
Trusted teacher: English Translation: contact me please SONGS generally consist of chord and text lines. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hIT or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book an hour to get started. That is the scan hour. Are we lying together and is there a click? If you book and I confirm, then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

Vera - Kiev, Ukraine£20
Trusted teacher: Hey there, I am Vera, a singer, composer and a vocal coach, a member of NATS(National Association of Teachers of Singing, USA) if you also adore music and singing I would be glad to help you in developing your skills! I prepared students for entering the New York Film Academy to the program "Musical Theatre". Also, I prepared many recitals of my students and their bands in Ukraine, Poland, Canada, Israel, USA, Indonesia, Germany, etc..., recorded a few EP, have clips available on music channels, also perform their songs on the radio. Some of them have their own youtube channels and we are developing it choosing interesting songs for cover. Others write their own songs and have a contract with the music labels in the USA, and I always support these skills. Speaking of my personal achievements I can say that I am a singer and songwriter, I work in several styles- house, lounge, jazz, country, and pop, collaborate with musicians, sound engineers, and producers from many countries. I have experience of writing arrangements and working with professional musical programs such as Cubase, Nuendo, and others, also I worked a lot as a session vocalist in the many recording studios in Ukraine. So I can share my knowledge with you. My methods are directed to get the result as soon as it`s possible and also to develop your natural music skills. That`s why I use the most effective exercises in my work special for each student. Also, my methods are loyal so the student can sing his favorite songs at the lesson and enjoy it. See you at the lessons!

Trusted teacher: Graduated in composition and Orchestration and in the art of theater and directing, having a Master in Musical Theater at the Sorbonne University Paris and a doctorate of advanced research in the art of singing and musical interpretation , I propose singing and interpretation lessons, based on the understanding and implementation of the Belt technique (breathing, voice placement, flexibility of diaphragmal pressure, diction) and a practical application of the theatrical method from Stanislavski for a thorough understanding and discovery of the theatrical interpretation of songs. The course consists of two or three parts: 1. A warm-up with various exercises, with the aim of widening the range, developing the breathing and understanding the mechanism of the phonator device. 2. Practical work on a song with eclectic choice. 3. A part of learning music theory and reading of score, if necessary. I work with you, putting a lot of emphasis on discovering or developing your voice at your own pace. I can also propose: 2. Music interpretation course (we work on the game and the construction of a character, the emotion of the song, the nuances) 3. Theater course (Actor's Studio method) - (we work on the body expression, the scenic presence, the connection between thought and action on stage), 4. Course of musical theory and solfege (the bases of the musical theory to be able to read and follow a partition), 5. Preparation course for castings and auditions (work on psychological preparation, stress management, choice of pieces and cutting, etc.). The price quoted is per course

Trusted teacher: Feeling like you're not using the full potential of your voice? I'm a certified voice teacher and I can help you with that. I am part of a worldwide voice community, The Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) and I am regularly receiving training and being tested to be the best singing teacher I can be for you. Some of the teachers in this community I am part of, teach big names of the music industry. I have learnt directly from them. That means that when we have a lesson, you will be getting the same training as stars like Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Seal, Dan Reynolds (Imagine Dragons), Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson, Brendon Urie (Panic! at the disco) many broadway artists and singers from all possible music styles have learnt with. In our lessons I will analyze your voice, define a goal for the lesson and trace a plan to achieve that goal. Then we will do vocal exercises that work almost like going to the gym, but for the muscles inside your larynx. Finally we will go through song application, and since I am also a singer/songwriter with a career of more than 10 years, I can help you with interpretation and stylistic choices. I want to help you start loving all aspects of your own voice. Working with what you have and improving what you can improve, never forgetting the most important thing which is to enjoy the experience of singing. obs: for kids under the age of 12, the lesson is less about learning the technique and more about getting familiar with music, with your voice, but in a fun and relaxing way.

Trusted teacher: A TCM-certified vocal instructor and vocal coach, I teach beginning and advanced singers, amateur and pro. I teach principles of healthy, balanced phonation using the TCM approach. TCM is an evidence-based approach to vocal health for speaking and singing, developed by British voice researcher and teacher Allan Wright. It is based on current research in vocal physiology, acoustics, vocal rehabilitation and vocal pedagogy, and caters to all singers, regardless of musical style or aesthetics. I also provide classes to actors and all other voice professionals who wish to train or re-train their voice for speaking or singing. I also offer artistic coaching in my classes, approaching interpretation in full respect of the style in which singers wish to express their artistry, providing them with a toolbox of targeted, effective, playful techniques to help them achieve their musical goals. I like to create and maintain a collaborative, focused and benevolent working atmosphere in all of my classes and workshops. As a singer, I self-accompany on piano or guitar, and I offer singers who accompany themselves training tips to enhance their self-accompanied singing and/or playing. Singers/actors/voice professionals may choose to have lessons either on a regular basis or occasionally, whenever they seek a solution to a particular vocal problem. Each class includes a vocal warm-up, discussion of vocal or musical objective for the class, followed by work on a song or text - or passage from a song or text - which the singer needs technical or musical help with. Classes end with a short vocal cool-down and a recap of what we worked on and what proved most helpful, so that students know precisely what to work on between classes. I was trained and certified in Nantes (France) by Allan Wright, and have been teaching TCM since 2012 to singers who express themselves in different musical styles. I also use TCM in corporate and community settings to help voice professional from all venues. TCM brings about rapid and lasting benefits both to singers who wish to develop a healthy, powerful singing voice, and to singers or speakers who seek relief from vocal fatigue and need to retrain their voice to cope with the vocal demands of their profession.

Trusted teacher: With the Complete Vocal Technique, you have the possibility of widening the register of the notes that you sing up to at least 3 octaves, with characters of varied sounds (powerful, soft, dark, with or without effects…), to maintain in any circumstance your voice in good health and develop your artistic expression. It is so opposed to the traditional vision and to what people say about song in general ... If you want to shake things up a bit, the following may be of interest to you! Do you always find yourself stuck around a certain note in the upper or lower part of your voice? When you try to reproduce the sound of the artists you like, do you feel incapable of such prowess? Do you find your voice too soft or too loud, not dark enough, not enveloping enough, too linear or too unstable, too much this or too little that? To evolve, you tried to self-correct and redo approximately 300 million tries of this song. To progress, you watched tutorials on the internet, downloaded exercise programs. To evolve, you followed the advice of your entourage, one or more singing teachers to the letter. In short, if you happen to feel like a thong surfer preparing to climb Everest, you are a singer! Personally, I alone count thousands of hours of frustrations and failures. I participated in courses and internships of all kinds, dissected books on the voice, methodically tested exercise programs ... I often came out with the following questioning: "Am I normal if I have learned things but that I haven't evolved that much? " For the anecdote, one day a professor of conservatory said to me "You, whatever you do, in 5 years you will always be at the same point! " The story would end there if I had not received a book a few years ago from Catherine Sadolin, a Danish woman who created a method which is now recognized worldwide and which is called "Complete Voice Technique". This approach to singing has so profoundly changed my pedagogical and practical approach to singing that I went to train in Denmark to participate in its dissemination. In a few words, the Complete Voice Technique differs from the usual approaches because it is based on the assertion that everyone can learn to sing and relies on physiology / anatomy to allow everyone to develop extended voice capabilities. This affirmation is made possible by the application of the 3 fundamental principles for a sound vocal technique and 4 vocal modes which correspond to 4 main types of sound characters that are found in all cultures and all styles of music. To produce any sound, you use a specific setting of the vocal tract (area between the vocal cords at the mouth) which creates the character of the sound (soft, powerful, restrained, with or without effects) and which refers to one of the 4 modes. Once you master the limits and benefits of these modes, you are actually able to sing exactly what you want! Concretely, here is what the Complete CVT Voice Technique brings you: -Learning the 3 fundamental principles to keep your voice healthy. -The training of the 4 voice modes for increased vocal flexibility. -Knowledge of the 6 places that you can use to influence the color of the sound. -The possibility of adding effects to the service of personality and emotion. you have access to several tools to acquire these new skills and this deep understanding of your voice: –Tours of 1, 5 and 10 private lessons. To register: -Book your first lesson on the apprentices site. -I will contact you within 48 hours to set an appointment or send you practical information. Before committing, I would like you to think about your motivation. Whether you are a beginner, amateur or professional, I work exclusively with people who are involved in their learning process. SEE YOU SOON ! 4 proposals coexist in order to meet your objectives as closely as possible: 1) In detail: a personalized discovery or work meeting on a specific point in your voice, on a song, a chorus, an effect, a note… that you wish to improve. 2) "Development" course, cycle of 5 personalized meetings: -A better knowledge of your voice and its possibilities. -Quick and concrete solutions to achieve your current goals. -An increase in your comfort and vocal flexibility. -More effective use of your support (breathing). - Lodges to keep your voice healthy. - Greater confidence in you and your voice. -Autonomy in your singing practice. 3) "Ambition" course: Cycle of 10 personalized meetings -The benefits of the "development" course -Practical means to develop your personal artistic identity. - An opening on the infinite possibilities of your voice. -A very great comfort in your vocal practice. - Interpretation tools and stage presence. -An increased vocal flexibility.

Improve your speeches in public and in meetings / Brussels (Ixelles-Elsene)
Charlotte
Charlotte is a superb instructor. I took classes with her at her home for several months to improve my public speaking skills. During each session, Charlotte helped me work on my tone and delivery through various public speaking exercises. Charlotte asked me to prepare short written assignments before our meetings, so that I could practice delivering my script using various speaking techniques during the class. For these assignments, Charlotte was very engaged and made sure that the assignments would assist me in my specific professional goals. She did this by tailoring the subject matter to my professional work - mostly legal and political matters - and she pushed me to consider what I wanted to achieve from my audience with each speaking opportunity. Charlotte, however, is not only a skilled professional. She is also a tremendously kind, energetic and dynamic person to work with. She made me feel comfortable sharing my vulnerabilities, which made the process of receiving constructive feedback a fun and welcomed experience. She encouraged me to practice my public speaking in French - which is not my first language - and made me feel at ease. She is kind, understanding and an incredibly nice person. If you are looking for a professional who is dedicated to helping you improve, welcomes your goals and ideas, and who is a pleasure to meet with each week - then look no further than Charlotte.
