I'm a singer and bassist based in London, ICMP alumni, graduated in Popular Music Performance specialising in Vocals. I had the opportunity to improve my skills as a vocalist through different Vocal Coaches, who inspired me to share the passion to other people with fun, kindness and a good challenge. My vocal classes will include: -Introduction: your interests, goals, struggles or anything else. -Vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, vocal exercises. -Working on a song together (any song of your choice or I can pick one if you like). -Performance, getting rid of stage fright, and how to convey a song with feelings. I've always taught to my students privately and recently started to teach online. I like to have a free chat with my student (and/or their parents) before the first class to fully understand my student's goals and create the perfect study plan, with songs that will gently push you out of your comfort zone, where everything grows. Important is to mention that our classes are safe learning environment and there is no judgement; every mistake is an occasion for improving.

Our lessons are available at two locations in Crouch End (N8) and Thursdays in Crouch End and Mayfair (W1K). With a sound vocal technique, our singers are encouraged to try as many styles of singing as possible. We have jazz, folk, classical, contemporary, and musical workshops for our students. Our singers enjoy learning in our spacious, welcoming rooms and have many opportunities to sing in our choirs, productions, jazz and other workshops throughout the year. Lessons can be for your own pleasure or we can also prepare you for the graded examinations or auditions. Hello! My name is Kajsa, and I am a 21 year old vocalist and musician from Sweden. I am currently in my third and final year of University at BIMM London, where I study Popular Music Performance Vocals. I have been singing and taking vocal lessons since I was 7 years old. I have been trained both classically and commercially. I prefer the commercial training because it allows the singer to focus more on the emotion when singing instead of posture and vocal techniques. Ofcourse there is a lot of technique that goes into it which we will focus on aswell, but in todays popular music the listener is looking for an emotion and a voice they can relate to. It can’t be too perfect and classical in the commercial scene today, that removes all the rawness and emotion that the listener is looking for, in my oppinion. I want to offer my potential students a safe place where they can belt their heart out or be vulnerable in their headvoice without judgement. I know I lacked this when i was growing up into this industry, and I would love to give the confidence of not caring too much and to teach how to be brave enough to sing with 100% emotion. I finished a music school and my speciality was the piano. I did an expanded course that lasted 13 years, 3-4 times per week and, of course, all included : sight reading, notation, music theory etc. Since 7 years old, I went to several national piano competitions all around the world every year until I was accepted at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute. There, I’m studying vocals and music industry in general. I won a lot of first, second, grand prices as marks of my achievements. I’m from Lithuania, I was working there as a private piano and singing teacher for a couple of years. During a gap year I took, I was teaching as well. My mum is a piano teacher, I was in this sphere for all my life. As I was teaching, I had international students from Germany and Italy. It makes me experienced in English language teaching. I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.
