This Class is designed for children aged 0-12 and will be tailored to fit the Level of education of each individual student. My background is in molecular medicine and I like to think I that scientists are the architects of what the future will look like and I believe its important to instill a love of science in children from an early age. I like to focus on biology in my classes as I believe its the building blocks for higher level science. I make my classes as interactive and interesting as possible as I think this is the best way to get children to engage and learn. The class will also include Aspects of Chemistry and Physics especially focusing on the fundamentals and using real life examples to better understand these. The class will include demonstrations and small scale Lab experiments as I think these can really get students excited and help them become emersed into the world of science.

I am a student who recently finished college and is heading to university. I have been a tutor for two GCSE students and one for a year 6 pupil, and I specialise in working with children up to year 11. I aim to help the student with his knowledge gaps, and ensure a steady and continuous progress, whist making the subject as interesting as possible for the person. I offer constant feedback and help with whatever it is that they need, so they they obtain the grades they want in the examination. I tailor the experience for each student and I make sure they feel comfortable and happy whist they are still challenged to improve themselves. I am a current veterinary medicine student at the royal veterinary college (the number 1 best vet school in the world according to QS world rankings) Having received A*A*AC in A-levels in 2023, I specialise in law level content for OCR and AQA and Biology OCR A track however can translate to different specifications. The class entails a 60 minute session of which 20 minutes is information and content coverage, 10 minutes of multiple choice questions and 30 minutes of intensive specification-cross related written answer questions.

Throughout this course catered towards year 9-11 students at any level, we will be studying for topics that are part of the national curriculum as well as practise effective revision by recapping content and then go on to work through practise papers together. Whenever a student is struggling to grasp a Topics, these lessons will help clarify and simplify complex concept so that students can readily apply them to complete problem solving tasks.

I recently completed my degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, where I graduated with upper Second Class Honours. I volunteered as a teaching assistant during my last two years of school, where I assisted GCSE and Year 1 A-level Biology teaching for two hours a week. At university, I was part of the Edinburgh University Biology Peer Assisted Learning Scheme, a student led group whose goal is to support first year students achieve their academic potential and ease their transit from high school to university life. I have been commended by teachers and pupils on my patience and ability to communicate with students of varying abilities. I reviewed A-level and GCSE Biology in depth during the past months as I was preparing for the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT).
