Biology, Chemistry, Science, Maths Tutoring classes

- Dedicated to helping students learn through collaborative efforts, I believe in using tailored methods to help each student learn best.
- I wish to assist students in improving their studies so they can achieve their personal goals and apply learning techniques throughout their lives.
- I mainly tutored science subjects and English previously.
- Through patience and understanding, I believe we can find creative and innovative studying methods that best spark motivation and encourage learning.
- Classes depend primarily on the expectations of students; some learn better with past papers and exercises through identifying weak areas, while some learn better with mind maps and in-depth explanations.
- With younger children, I'd like to engage them in games and activities.

My middle school daughter really benefited from her first lesson and is enthusiastic for more. She commented on how well prepared Yanni was and how reassuring about learning science. Yanni made her feel more confident and capable.

Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry tutoring for GCSEs and KS3
I am currently a first year Biomedical Sciences student at King's College London. I have studied at Haberdashers' Girl's School since Year 7. I recently got A*AAA in French, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry A Levels. I have experience in teaching others, notably at Habs Girls, and I want to help you get top grades in Maths and Science. What is most important is to give you the confidence to succeed by teaching complex topics in a simple way. I am available for both online and in-person lessons.

I did AQA and have the GCP Revision Guides. I am happy to focus on tricky individual topics or help guide revision. I am also happy to mark practice papers and use that to guide our revision. If you're interested please message me, I can do it online or in person at your home or library. Look forward to hearing from you

George
Tutoring for Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Geography, RS, Physics, and English
I am a UCL Biological Sciences student seeking to offer a highly personalised tutoring experience that caters to my students' needs. I currently teach from Year 7 upwards with a speciality in exam preparation. I teach Geography, RS, Physics, and English from Years 7-11, and Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry from Years 7-13. I aim to understand my tutees' unique concerns and explain concepts simply with many alternative approaches. As someone who has experienced obstacles to my own learning, I have a lot of empathy for students struggling with their learning, particularly those with learning differences and endeavour to develop an approach that works for them. I was a strong student in secondary school (Queen’s College, London) achieving A*s and As (and equivalents) at GCSE and three As at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Particularly of note, I received a 9 in GCSE Mathematics, 98% in GCSE Religious Studies, and was awarded a sixth-form academic scholarship. I am an experienced tutor - I participated in a tutoring scheme in secondary school which allowed students from Year 7 to Year 12 to ask any questions they might be struggling with in any subject they wished. This allowed me to continue to engage with my GCSE content during my A-Level years and taught me how to listen to and understand the particular needs of each student at a given moment. I also tutored family and friends of family, allowing me to engage personally with my students and develop a specialised teaching approach. I offer one hour and two hour sessions and am free on weekends, after 5pm, and whenever my university timetable permits. I am generally free at all times outside of university term time.

English, Chemistry and Biology GCSE and A Levels lessons
Learning English language or literature is not as difficult or boring as you may seem to think. I will be bringing fun and new collective ideas to be teaching you the tricks you need to pass either GCSE or A levels. Chemistry and biology are two of the three sciences which are interesting and fun. They may be difficult to tackle at first but it is more than doable. I will be able to teach you new ways to answer challenging questions.

SVT private lessons for high school students - Bac Scientifique
Currently in 4th year of MSci Neuroscience at University College London (UCL), I would like to help high school students assimilate their SVT course as well as pass on my passion for life and earth sciences. Having obtained my Scientific Baccalaureate (SVT specialty) in 2018 with mention Very Good and 19/20 in SVT, I master the recent program of the high school. In addition to the assimilation of the course, I can help the students of Terminale to prepare the Bac with methodological advice for the different exercises and subjects like Bac.

Victoire
School and High School Support (All Materials)
Currently studying for a Master in Management (Grande Ecole) at ESCP Europe on the London campus, I offer private lessons to accompany your children by helping them to do their homework (primary, college, high school, all subjects). Next year, I will study at the École Polytechnique: Master in Economics, Data Analytics and Corporate Finance. After graduating with honors (17.2 / 20) in 2015, I studied Economics and Finance at Bocconi in Milan (International Course taught in English). My academic background allowed me to develop requirements, rigor and organization. Having also participated in summer camps as a manager (graduated from BAFA), I am very pedagogue, patient, and eager to advance my students. I have several experiences in teaching: I gave several private lessons to college students and undergraduates. In addition, I helped several students prepare admissions to the Bocconi and the Parisian Grandes Écoles. I share with my students my methods of work and learning that have paid off for me. I am available the week but also the weekends. Do not hesitate to contact me, I will be happy to help you! Victory

Mavi
All level, IGCSE, IB and AP Physics, Math, Chemistry and Science Course
I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company. I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 9 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools. Additionally, I hold the position of president at the astronomy society, where I foster my students' interest in astronomy and science beyond the lessons. I prepare the learning environment by incorporating experiments and exploration, moving away from rote education. I often bring experimental materials to class, aiming to make learning memorable through hands-on experiments. As a educational mentor, I approach my students as if they were my siblings, valuing creativity. I have a deep passion for mathematics, physics, and science. I am dedicated to helping students understand and learn because life encompasses both SCIENCE and ART. The more people I can inspire to know, understand, and love mathematics, physics, and chemistry, the more proud I am. Are you curious about how nature works? Let's explore together!
