As a conservatory-trained musician with teaching experience at beginner and intermediate level, I guide students through the fundamentals of violin playing in a clear, patient, and supportive way. Together we work on posture, bow technique, intonation, rhythm, sound production, musicality, and developing confidence with the instrument. For me, learning the violin is not only about technique, but also about expression and finding your own voice through music. Every student has a different personality, sensitivity, and way of learning, so I adapt each lesson to your individual needs, goals, and pace. I believe music should feel alive, inspiring, and enjoyable. My teaching style is positive, flexible, and encouraging. I want students to feel comfortable exploring, making mistakes, and gradually building a genuine connection with the violin and with music itself.

Hi everybody! I am Umberto, Italian professional drummer based in Brussel. I have a Bachelor in Jazz Drums and I have just achieved my Master in Jazz Drums at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. I have 8 years of experience in music teaching, both private and in schools. I would like to teach drums and share with you this musical world. About the lessons, my method really changes according to the needs of the student. It's very important for me to know a student and what he/she wants to achieve in order to create a specific program that suits him/her. All levels are welcome: from the beginner to the more advanced, I am open to give lessons to everyone who wants to explore the drums and the beauty of music. I am ready to work on all aspects of the drums: techniques, rudiments, grooves, fills, timing, musicianship. As a drummer I have a lot of experience in many different music genres, both teaching and playing: from jazz to funk, from rock to pop, and also folk music in case you want to have a more percussive approach. Last but not least, my idea as a teacher is to create a friendly enviroment: having fun is the most important thing in order to learn in a natural and effective way! I am available to give lessons at my place. I have a rehearsal room with 2 drumsets, one for the student and one for me, so to show clearly and immediatly all the concepts. I have a PA system as well, so to be able to playalong with music. I can also come to the house of the student, but that would be a secondary option. For this last option, I will charge some extras for travel cost and time spent. I don't have a car, so I will travel by public transport :)

Trombone is an interesting instrument in the Brass family. The movement of the slide makes it fun to play with and make music. You can even join jazz bands and some other activities once you get a hold of it! In my trombone class, you can learn to play beginner trombone with some simple songs alongside some music theory. The class opens the door for beginners in music learning. I can also provide beginner piano lessons at the same time!

I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice.
