Hello, I specialize in tutoring Bhangra, Indian Folk dance, in a systematic, easy and convenient way to any age group learners. I have been in the dance world for 20 years and danced professionally all over the world and spent time in the Royal New Zealand Ballet and then 11 years in The State Ballet of Georgia under the directorship of the Prima Ballerina Nina Ananiashvili. I provide dance lessons in various styles for various abilities. We can learn set routines or work on you ability to develop new routines. Lessons can be to work towards a show or event and create a dance especially for that or a mix of various routines taught over a few lessons. In your dance lessons you can learn new choreography as well as learn how to choreograph.

I specialize in teaching Dance and Drama at KS3, 4 and 5 in both secondary and FE settings, including A’Level, GCSE and BTEC courses. I also have my own Dance School and teach the BBO and LAMDA syllabi to my own students in both whole class and private lessons.

I grew up training in RAD ballet, ADAPT jazz and tap. After completing my RAD Advanced 2 ballet and my ADAPT Advanced jazz and tap exams, I began to teach. I have now been teaching a variety of ages and levels for eight years. I will be completing my third and final year of my ADAPT teaching certification this summer. I have completed the first year of both my RAD and Acrobatique teaching certifications I base my classes around the needs of the dancers I am working with. I teach with an emphasis on developing sound technique. I encourage my students to work hard, and focus on the areas in which the are developing. I like to challenge each dancer and create an interesting and engaging class.
