I teach singing, guitar and bass to children and adults of all ages and abilities in Rock, Pop, Jazz, Music Theatre, Classical and Opera. As I have always sung along with my guitar or bass playing, I have the expertise to help those who would like to improve their singing, or singers who would like to learn an instrument as well. Such tuition can be very useful for singer/songwriters or those who are already in a band, and wish to become a singer guitarist or bassist. I have advanced theory knowledge and experience in how to approach and arrange backing vocals.

Would you like to learn how to accompany Sevillanas with the flamenco guitar in an authentic and practical way? In this course you will learn from scratch or improving your current level to master the accompaniment of Sevillanas, one of the most popular styles of flamenco, present in fairs, pilgrimages and celebrations. Sevillanas are characterized by their 3/4 time signature, with a triple rhythm where the first beat is strong and the following two are softer. Throughout the course, you will learn to internalize this time signature and apply it fluently on the guitar. Course Objectives ● Learn the rhythm and beat of Sevillanas ● Master the basic chords and most commonly used progressions ● Develop flamenco strumming techniques ● Learn to accompany singing and dancing ● Introduce simple falsetas to enrich the playing ● Gain confidence by playing in a group or live Contents Beginner – Intermediate level 1.
