No worries I have exam techniques and exam questions galore! Note packs and summary notes. Visual learner? Not a problem. I have diagrams, videos, and real-life examples. Still struggling? I will find a way. I have been known in the past to take bizarre paths to make things make sense, for example, my tutor friends mostly know me for my use of Minecraft to teach algebra! I am a qualified maths teacher teaching maths for five years now. Teaching maths is my special passion as I really enjoy doing this and impacting on the young generation. I also have special passion in making every child no matter the learning difficulty succeed in class hence my master’s degree in special and inclusive education. I believe in impacting students. Every teacher should be a role model to the students. The students should be able to come into the classroom happy and keen to learn from the teacher every day. This is something I always look out for in my students, ensuring that my classroom environment is kept safe and welcoming for all my students. I believe that no child in my class should be left behind, every child no matter the learning disability should be carried along in every lesson and made to feel part of the learning process. This makes me happy as a teacher to see my students participate and get involved in the learning process. I am not there to be the only one talking in my class but to see all my students participate actively in the class. I differentiate my lessons to make sure all needs are addressed: the more able students are challenged while the students that require additional support are given the necessary support they deserve. This is one of the major components of my lesson plans. My assessment for learning is great as I used varied approaches embedded in my lesson plans to ensure students make the needed progress in my lessons.
