I have a BA (hons) in Music from the University of York and have over 4 years of teaching experience. I am a drummer and jazz composer with over 15 years experience. I am a tutor on the Jazz Course at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I can teach drums to grade 8 and beyond, as well as improvisation, song writing, harmony and grade 5 theory. I can assist with GCSE and A - Level music and coach band practice too.

I have been lucky enough to travel the world as a Lead Vocalist and perform in several plays, pantomimes, musicals and commercials. I am classically trained but specialised in Jazz at conservatoire level. I also completed a second study in singing during this time. I currently work for my local music service, and have a specialty as a multi-instrumentalist, teaching beginner violin, flute, recorder and trombone. I have also worked for many years as a lecturer and one-on-one teacher for a young performers conservatoire. I also work as a session musician and accompanist, regularly playing all genres of music!
