Trusted teacher: Hi! I'm Timo, nice that you made it to me! If you've found pleasure in playing the piano, you've come to the right place. If you want to get started, I'll be happy to show you the basics. If you've been playing for some time, I like to pick up where you're at. Since 2012 I have been teaching piano / keyboards at private and public music schools and have been able to work with countless students from young to old. I learned how to respond to each student differently, because nobody learns the same way. My youngest students also benefit from this at school and are usually ahead of their classmates in music lessons. So I'm all the more pleased that my enthusiasm for music is being transmitted to my students. Since I don't want to put a genre stamp on myself and have worked with a ton of different musicians over the years, I've acquired a wide range of styles over the years. Experience: In 2011 Timo took first place in the category '' Best Keyboarder "and" Best Instrumental Soloist "at the German Rock and Pop Prize - an extraordinary success that encouraged him to devote himself entirely to music and to follow his calling. In 2013 he started his studies at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg - first with a focus on piano and later on producing. During his studies Timo worked with experienced musicians from all over the world and was trained by well-known lecturers such as Prof. Mathias Leber, Prof. Alexander Päffgen and Prof. Florian Sitzmann. In 2015/16 he worked as part of some internships at Naidoo / Herberger Produktion in various recording studios. An intellectually as well as practically valuable experience in which Timo was able to deal intensively with studio work and expand his know-how for music productions. In 2019/20 Timo wrote the score for "Line Walker 2: Invisible Spy" (Shaw Brothers, Babieka) and "Declared Legally Dead" (Emperor Motion Pictures) together with Yusuke Hatano. In the games division, he composed the music for the RPG “The Revenant Prince” (Nomina Games). In addition, Timo works with bands and artists and is involved in a wide range of TV and advertising areas. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time. :) Best regards, Timo

Trusted teacher: I’m a professional violist and have been improvising since I was a child. Nowadays, I perform with various improvisation ensembles and have been collaborating with theatre, dance, and film projects. I co-founded ”Kaipuu” FESTIVAL OF SILENT FILM AND IMPROVISED SOUND in 2018. I’ve been taught in Classical Improvisation by Prof. David Dolan at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London during 2010-2015 whilst completing my Bachelor's and Masters studies. Further studies followed at the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts, Helsinki. I also took part in numerous conferences and courses such as the METRIC International Conference for Improvisation in The Hague in 2017. I’ve held numerous improvisation courses at the East Helsinki Music Institute. Improvisation is the best way for anyone to explore more - about themselves, about others, about the world around you. According to your level of experience, the content will be tailored to your specific wishes and going at a pace that challenges you but builds on positive experiences. We will push past ”limitations” that we tend to impose on ourselves and travel on the road of creative freedom. Depending on your personal interests, we will discover different areas of musical improvisation and explore a common mindset that will help you in all areas of life. Some of the areas we can explore together are: - improvising on scales, ground bass, harmonic progressions, multi-part improvisation, tonal and tonally free improvisation, modulation - improvising within Classical forms such as Minuets, Rondos, Sonata-form - improvising to text, images or silent film - improvising within musical repertoire (including cadenzas and ornamentations) - improvising in between or ahead of pieces (Preludes/ Interludes) - Practice habits that incorporate an improvisational, more creative mindset - Improvisational exercises to help with audition/concert preparation, enhance performance and reduce anxiety

Trusted teacher: I am a classically trained pianist with a versatile approach to teaching. I share my passion and experience of music, sparking imagination and inspiring creativity of my students. Throughout my teaching career (over 10 years) I have always strived to help students of different ages and abilities to achieve their best. I prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool exams. Using individual approach, I am experienced in teaching not only classical music, but also contemporary music, neoclassical music, jazz music and others. I am convinced that excellent results can be reached by encouraging students to share my love of music by introducing them history, theory, harmony, broaden their musical perspective. Trusted teacher: Hello, I’m Kevin! I am an Australian-based music educator and conductor and I have a passion for enabling others to lead with a growth mindset and positivity, conduct with confidence and conviction, and flourish as people and as musicians. Our school and community-based ensembles need skilled and committed people to help them be their best. With 30 years of conducting bands, orchestras, and choirs at all levels, I have the experience and outlook to help you learn safely and effectively so that you can be the conductor and leader you aspire to be and ‘pay it forward’ to others. My professional career started when I was named as the first ABC Young Conductor of the Year – Australia’s national conducting prize. From this point, I have built a career in professional conducting, university/college ensemble leadership, music consultancy, and an active presence in school and community music contexts. I have led conductor development projects and intensives throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. I have Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in Music, and I have been Director/Head of Music in three large schools. I love teaching, watching my students grow and flourish, and working with them to secure their goals and aspirations – whatever they may be. I can help you consolidate your baton technique, show you how to study scores and how to prepare your rehearsals, share the essential considerations in selecting a repertoire that works, and share with you the essential methods to work with your musicians in the most effective way to achieve great results in rehearsal and performance. Successful conducting is all about authentic and effective relationships! I look forward to working with you if you share my passion for conducting and music-making in affecting a positive difference to the wellbeing of others in our communities!
