I'm a singer and bassist based in London, ICMP alumni, graduated in Popular Music Performance specialising in Vocals. I had the opportunity to improve my skills as a vocalist through different Vocal Coaches, who inspired me to share the passion to other people with fun, kindness and a good challenge. My vocal classes will include: -Introduction: your interests, goals, struggles or anything else. -Vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, vocal exercises. -Working on a song together (any song of your choice or I can pick one if you like). -Performance, getting rid of stage fright, and how to convey a song with feelings. I've always taught to my students privately and recently started to teach online. I like to have a free chat with my student (and/or their parents) before the first class to fully understand my student's goals and create the perfect study plan, with songs that will gently push you out of your comfort zone, where everything grows. Important is to mention that our classes are safe learning environment and there is no judgement; every mistake is an occasion for improving.

I have created a seven step program that takes you through the basics and teaches how to recognize clefs, range, and expands the limits of possibilities. While day 1 is an introduction on the build of music and what notes are, by day 5 you already understand how key signatures work and how to write down a tune that you hear somewhere. Or, maybe, you have an instrument and always wanted to be able to pick up a piece of music and be able to play it? Or, perhaps, it is time to become the composer and notate your creations to better remember and share? Whatever it might be, learning to read and write music gives you a new, exciting skill and opens a door to a whole new world!

Isaac is an award-winning clarinettist, teacher and arranger. He graduated with Distinction from the Royal College of Music as an HR Taylor Trust Scholar, studying Masters of Performance. In 2021, he graduated first class as a Bachelor of Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he won the college's Concerto Competition. He is originally from a small village in Northamptonshire. At a young age, Isaac has a wealth of experience in teaching across all levels of education. He has managed his private studio for half a decade, whilst currently holding the position of woodwind tutor at West London Free School, previously Loughton Music Academy Trust and World Heart Beat Music Academy. Alongside working with RCM & RWCMD Juniors departments, and RCM Sparks programmes as workshop support staff, Isaac has worked with the outreach departments of the London Mozart Players, Neville Holt Opera and Royal Scottish National Orchestra. He is also an ongoing self-employed tutor at BSharp Studios, Marie de Bry Arts Academy, Forte Lessons, Lycaeum Tutors, and London Music Tutors; he is also on the roster of the RCM Teaching Service. In 2022, his wind quintet, Ormonde Ensemble, won a place on the Wigmore Hall Chamber Tots Training and Development Scheme, a unique opportunity for musicians to develop their skills and experience as supporting musicians in early-year practice. Isaac approaches teaching with a young, fresh mindset with a heavy focus on a strong musical foundation, problem-solving, practice “hacking”, determination and, above all, enjoyment. He has been commended for his relatability and calm, patient but efficient manner. He believes that the perfect teacher enables the pupil to become their own teacher! Being able to have clear direction and goals is of paramount importance. Also, having the capacity to ask “Why is this working/not working?” and having ideas on how to fix them is the fastest way to progress. After studying performance psychology alongside his clarinet studies at RCM and during his exchange in Finland, Isaac is deeply passionate about how the mind affects how we play and practice. He draws mostly from academics such as Anders Ericsson and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, and countless world-leading clarinet players whom he has been fortunate to learn from. Being an active professional musician by trade means Isaac is always striving to be on the top of his playing, which bolsters teaching practices immensely, allowing lessons to be driven through first-hand and recent experiences. This facilitates constantly fresh ideas for his pupils to work on alongside regular fundamentals. Isaac works regularly as a guest with some of the top orchestras in the country, such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and London Mozart Players, among others. He has recently been appointed as one of the Philharmonia’s ‘MMSF Emerging Artists’ for the 2023/24 season. Isaac’s rates factor in all the financial obligations of being self-employed, such as holiday pay, sick pay, pension contributions, familial leave, additional travel, increased preparation time or greater responsibility. Current inflation rates, including global food prices and transport costs, are also a continual factor in the fee. They also follow the recommended teaching rates for this location put forward by the Musician's Union, of which Isaac is a member. This is to avoid undercutting other tutors, whilst still wishing to provide affordable lessons. Lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes: 30 minutes is ideal for young beginners, 45 for adult beginners and older pupils. 60 minutes for advanced players or those who wish to learn Music Theory in tandem. VIOLIN AND/OR MUSIC THEORY LESSONS When I begin teaching an individual, I make sure that I inspire them and teach them the value and beauty of music. I am very thorough about teaching technique properly so that it will last and be an asset in one's musical future, but I still like to keep my students on their toes and excited about actually making music and adding life to the notes they draw out of their instruments. Each individual is different and has different goals they wish to achieve with their playing, thus, for me it is very important to establish a connection with my students and cater each lesson to their specific needs and learning style. I have had the pleasure of sharing my love of music with musicians of all ages ever since I began teaching the violin in 2014. I teach both young and mature students, focusing my energy on private lessons. I have also had the opportunity to work with groups of young children at summer programs in collaboration with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.

I am a violinist and traveling teacher. I have played the violin for many years in several orchestras. The violin rep to me is the most amazing beautiful sounds that have been created. I love to teach students from the very beginning to help them achieve a good technique and musical ear. The first few lessons are so important to understand how the body works with the violin in order to achieve a beautiful tone and musicality later down the line. I also cater for exams with ABRSM and trinity exam boards I have currently moved to London to continue my studies of the violin with Fabienne Fauritte. My teaching style depends on how the student learns and I will adapt to their needs in order to help them achieve their potential.

With solo piano performance degrees from the Royal Academy of Music (London) and the Universität der Künste (Berlin) I am a highly qualified award-winning concert pianist with almost 20 years of teaching experience and a passion for education. My musical learning was also furthered by postgraduate musicological studies at Royal Holloway and serious interests in philosophy, religions, history, civilization, literature, poetry, law, languages as well as many other things. I loved my musical journey which included not only piano but also composition, the violin, recorder, flute, harpsichord and clavichord from childhood onwards. In the last two decades, teaching has been giving meaning to my life and I enjoy helping others to find fulfillment as well as joy in their learning. My teaching approach is comprehensive, builds up confidence and incorporates a multidisciplinary orientation thanks to which students get promptly enthused over their learning. There is a focus on enhancing musical understanding, developing or improving reading skills, building up technique, expanding repertoire in a healthy way and foundationally preventing or sorting out injuries as well as pain-related problems. Although my teaching style is primarily quality-oriented with regards to skills, I believe that happiness, confidence, results and a sane sense of achievement are important components to balance in holistic education and offer a non-judgemental, patient, kind, equality-oriented, multicultural environment in which learning can thrive. I encourage students to perform in concerts, festivals, exams and competitions. Many have won prizes in numerous competitions and passed exams with distinctions. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I've played music for 19 years, having performed over 200 concerts and composed with a wide variety of groups and ensembles across England and Belgium in many genres (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more).
