About Me

Hello! My name is Masha and I’m a Slovenian violinist studying at the Royal College of Music in London. I’m offering individual and small group violin lessons for students of all levels and ages. We will work towards goals we set together and adjust the course of lessons to your needs and wishes. Whether that is introducing the first steps into the music world to our youngest, working on serious violin repertoire and orchestra excerpts or simply following your teacher’s instructions and practicing together. My name's Luca and I've been a full-time professional musician for the past 10 years. I mainly work as a session musician and recording artist/producer, and also as a private guitar tutor.
My goal when it comes to teaching is to share my knowledge and passion for music and to help you improving and having as much enjoyment from it as I have for it.

I base my lessons on my student’s ambitions and on their weaknesses, so they can improve quickly and efficiently, without loosing interest on the instrument, and so they can reach their goals, giving them a personalised lesson plan, having fun and playing different styles and techniques. Two keywords form the base of the singing technique I teach: relaxation and engagement. Inspired by the Alexander technique, we need the body to be completely free from any muscle tension before and after producing a sound. Then, to create a sound of quality, the body also needs to be engaged and free. By releasing all the unnecessary tension, you will be able to sing all the arias of your dreams. I will give some weekly exercises in singing and music theory and we will correct them together during the lesson.
I was part of the choir of the French public radio broadcaster for 7 years. I have a diploma in Music theory from the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt. I even have a degree in Pop music and I am currently finishing my Master's in musical theatre and composition.

I'm a singer and bassist based in London, ICMP alumni, graduated in Popular Music Performance specialising in Vocals. I had the opportunity to improve my skills as a vocalist through different Vocal Coaches, who inspired me to share the passion to other people with fun, kindness and a good challenge.

My vocal classes will include:
-Introduction: your interests, goals, struggles or anything else.
-Vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, vocal exercises.
-Working on a song together (any song of your choice or I can pick one if you like).
-Performance, getting rid of stage fright, and how to convey a song with feelings.

I've always taught to my students privately and recently started to teach online. I like to have a free chat with my student (and/or their parents) before the first class to fully understand my student's goals and create the perfect study plan, with songs that will gently push you out of your comfort zone, where everything grows.
