Hi, I'm Heewon from South Korea. I'm a graduate of the HKU Conservatory's Jazz & Pop department, majoring in jazz piano, though alongside that, I've continued studying classical piano, as well as composition and arranging. For over 6 years, I've taught students ranging from young children (6 to 7 years old) to adults in their 50s and beyond, covering genres from jazz and pop to classical and new age, along with music theory. Piano lessons in Jazz, Classical, or Modern styles; depending on the student's interest, we can mix a bit of everything or delve deep into one style. Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand.
