Friendly German Tutor – Academic & Everyday German for All Levels or German with Depth: Politics, Philosophy & Real ConversationsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! I'm Ali, and I'd love to be your German teacher. I'm not a native speaker myself – I learned German from scratch and later passed the DSH-2 exam (C1 level). So I know exactly how it feels to struggle with a new language, and more importantly, how to overcome those challenges. My lessons are for everyone: complete beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students who need German for university, work, or exam preparation (Goethe, DSH, TestDaF). With my background in political science at the University of Jena, I also specialise in academic German – writing, presentations, and discussions. I design every lesson around your personal goals. We use real materials like short articles, videos, and everyday conversations, so you learn the German people actually speak. Grammar is never scary with me, and mistakes are always welcome – they show us where to improve. Most importantly, you'll speak a lot and feel comfortable from the very first session. I have several years of online teaching experience, especially with refugees, which taught me to be patient, calm, and encouraging. If you're curious about politics, society, or philosophy, I'm always happy to bring those topics into our lessons – they're my passion. Book a lesson and let's start this journey together. I can't wait to meet you!

Introduction to Contemporary Political Theories and their developmentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Introduction to Contemporary Political Theories and their developmentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Political Theories mainly explore the theories around political structures that make up different societies. Introduction to Political Theories, as the name suggests provides students with explanations and insights into these seemingly overwhelming political theories, enabling one to understand their intricacies and evolution. These classes will prove to be of much use for someone who is just starting a bachelor's degree in political science. Also, students who are interested in International Relations might find these classes useful due to the context of the course being wholly international. The theories can get complicated quickly real soon and these classes will serve the purpose of getting the concepts cleared thoroughly. The classes will cover the following topics: Liberalism and its various forms Socialism and its variants Communism and its developments Feminism and its evolution Understanding the role of theories in historical and contemporary geopolitical conflicts The Liberalism and Communism debates Addressing the Glass Ceiling in Feminism The resources will be provided by me and shall be plenty. Being a scholar myself, there won't be any shortage of subject material to study and understand. Moreover, the classes can be modified to a reasonable extent in accordance with the student's syllabus or requirements. In a world where everyone's political opinions are getting quickly inflated and highlighted through social media, they can also affect mental health to some extent. Then, the only solution that remains is to understand the theories better. All of these billions of opinions are merely versions of the developments of a handful of these political theories. Owing to the nature of the classes they may also be useful for people who are curious about topics such as economics, political science, and history.

Political Science, Essays, Dissertations, Political Economy, Economics & European Studies - University Level & AdultsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello, I offer one-to-one private tuition to university students and adults in Political Science, Essay/Dissertation-writing, Political Economy, Economics, and European Studies. I have 15 years of experience in high-quality private tuition, and I am also a Lecturer in EU Politics at one of the world’s leading universities (University College London). My main areas of specialization are European Union politics and political economy, but I also regularly teach all other areas of Political Science, including Public Policy, Comparative Politics, Introduction to Politics, Populism, Democratisation, and many more. In addition, I teach Economics at a beginner/intermediate level. I can also help with dissertations and essays, at the undergraduate, Master or Ph.D. level. As I supervise and mark UCL students ' dissertations throughout the year, I am able to give you the marker's perspective and help you ensure that you obtain a top mark. In addition, I am experienced in helping adult learners who want to improve their skills in Political Science or basic Economics, for professional or personal reasons. Teaching is an activity that I deeply enjoy, and for which I have great enthusiasm. I was recently nominated for the Award for Outstanding Teaching by the UCL Students' Union. The feedback which I received from students taught in the past was very positive. In particular, I was told that my teaching had inspired students, and had made complex subjects appear simple and interesting. My approach to teaching is results-focused. I first discuss with the student what are his/her objectives (this may be achieving top marks on a final exam, being able to undertake exercises given as homework, or increasing their understanding of certain aspects of a subject). We then devise together a work plan, to ensure that the student meets those goals. This approach has been very successful in the past, as it is not only important to understand a certain subject, but also to be prepared for the particular type of examination or assessment that the student will need to face. I have a Ph.D. in Political Economy from Utrecht University, a master's in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, and a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). I teach either in person in London (ideally at UCL), or via email exchanges for written advice. Unfortunately I do not offer online classes.

He is really good at communication, reading between the lines, and highlighting the core idea. Our lessons or as I would rather call it a master class, were absolutely great and easy going. Thank you very much, Justin, for your amazing approach, custom-made professional and easy attitude, and a super international mindset. I would very much recommend it!
