After completing my Bachelor's degree in violin at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, I did a year of Erasmus at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, in Germany. From September, I will start my Master at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen.
Discovering new ways of learning is very important to me. I like to seize opportunities and meet inspiring musicians during Masterclasses in Belgium and abroad.
Perseverance and work, while respecting oneself, are for me the keys to long-term progress.
Learning music with kindness is the most important thing for me. I adapt to the needs and desires of each student, so that the process is personalized and motivating. Being able to pass on my passion enriches me enormously and allows me to acquire new skills as a musician.
I teach in French and English. I also have some German and I plan to learn Dutch this year.

Extra information

The ideal would be to bring your own instrument from the first lesson, so that we can directly begin practical work on the violin, and so that it is more fun and concrete for the student. By "instrument", I mean: a violin (the size varies depending on the age and size of the student), a bow, a violin case, a rosin. I am obviously at your disposal to advise you by message.

For the study of the instrument, we will focus on a dynamic between, the study of the violoncelle and his technique, using scores, melodies, and improvisation. A method based also on the connection between brain-body that allows one to improve and enjoy the art of practicing in different ways.

Music is a powerfull tool of comunication. If you are completely new and you want to know the basics of the music in fun way, you want to go more deep in your knowledges about music or you want to have flute classes this place is for you.

Depends on the age and on what you are looking for the class, It can be more dinamic with games or It can be more theorical. The music indeed is my speciality and my life, but my really profession is flute teacher. I am currently studying the flute master of music in Brussels.

I am a professional viola player from Estonia, currently living in Antwerpen. I have studied in multiple conservatories in Europe and have been a member of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra.

I enjoy working with children and I have experience teaching toddlers violin from the age of 3. Of course at that age it's more about the discovery of the sound and rhythm in our bodies in general 😊

I have also taught adults and I must say that some of my best conversations and connections have been made through teaching music to grown ups who want to learn something for themselves. I have had total beginners as well as adults who once studied at a music school and had quit for various reasons.

As jazz drummer I completed certificate programme for teaching in Istanbul then after I studied one year in the Netherlands currently I'm studying in Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Features and purpose of this course is mainly improving itself in different genres, the sense of rhythm or produce solutions for better technique on drums.
Starting point could be basics on drums or to be advanced on something specific depends on interest of person.

I'm Melani, I'm 26 years old and I live in Antwerp. I’ve been studying the clarinet since I was 7 years old and I have taught children and teenagers from the age of 20. This is my second year studying here, in Master 2 at the Antwerp Conservatory as a clarinetist with Julien Hervè (principal clarinet of the Rotterdam Philharmonic). I am a graduate of the Antwerp Conservatory of Music and have been playing the cello for 20 years. Despite my young age, since 2012, after winning many auditions, I have played in orchestral projects in 18 European countries. I regularly participated in music courses and workshops.
Currently, I work as a freelancer and am an active concert musician and private teacher.
