After completing my Bachelor's degree in violin at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, I did a year of Erasmus at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, in Germany. From September, I will start my Master at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen. Discovering new ways of learning is very important to me. I like to seize opportunities and meet inspiring musicians during Masterclasses in Belgium and abroad. Perseverance and work, while respecting oneself, are for me the keys to long-term progress. Learning music with kindness is the most important thing for me. I adapt to the needs and desires of each student, so that the process is personalized and motivating. Being able to pass on my passion enriches me enormously and allows me to acquire new skills as a musician. I teach in French and English. I also have some German and I plan to learn Dutch this year.

Music is a powerfull tool of comunication. If you are completely new and you want to know the basics of the music in fun way, you want to go more deep in your knowledges about music or you want to have flute classes this place is for you. My teaching method is flexible, as I can give lessons for a specific purpose (passing an exam, passing a test...) as well as working with people who are just looking to learn an instrument as a hobby. I have experience teaching children from 6 years old up to adults. Depending on the age and the goal you want to achieve with the classes, the lessons can be between 30 and 90 minutes long. I not only give lessons based on my method, but I can also reinforce students who already have a teacher to help them to achieve the work that the teacher has imposed on them by adapting to their way of working.

First, let's remember what we're talking about. Music is and always has been inherent in all human societies. It has many roles and is a very powerful language. It's a universe in itself... Music, and the violin in particular, brings me enormous joy every day. In fact, joy is, in my opinion, the greatest source of motivation given to us on earth. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
