About Me

I am Dani, a biologist, pianist and secondary school teacher.

I have completed a master's degree in teacher training for secondary and high school education and I am working as a piano teacher at a school in Sabadell.

I have been giving private lessons since I was 16 (I am currently 24) and I have always enjoyed it a lot and have obtained very good results from each of my students.

I am a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where I lived for 12 years. As well as my private lessons, I currently teach at Conservatoire of Barcelona to advanced pupils and at the British College of Gava to beginners pupils.

Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more.
