You're invited to be in a safe space where there are no such thing as mistakes, only learnings. In this class, you'll be able to learn music in general, from music history to music theory and reading, if that's your goal, as well as learning guitar in the genre you'd like to know more about.
What matters most to me is seeing my students' progress and making them feel confortable with my way of theaching, taking into account that I always try to adapt to each student's preferences and pace.

For initial, intermediate or advanced levels and at the rhythm of each student, adapting to their way of seeing, understanding and living music, as well as their work rhythm and the styles they want to learn.

I am a professional musician with more than 12 years of experience as a guitarist, I have traveled styles such as Jazz, Rock, Funk & Soul, Blues, World Music (Folklore), Pop, Reggae, playing and composing in a multitude of musical projects and concerts.
Graduated in professional medium degree in Jazz and modern music, I am currently studying the higher degree of "Jazz and modern music (Conservatori del Liceu)" and I am also a qualified sound technician (experience in music production and recording).

- Objectives exploration (What do you want to play? And How to achieve it?
- Instrument technique (... Pick, finger technique, slide, fingering ...)
- Visualization and understanding of: Scales, chords, arpeggios, progressions, phrases ...

- Reading of encrypted chords and / or scores (optional).
- Musical theory applicable to the instrument: Modern harmony, analysis.

I'm a musician, composer and producer from the UK with more than 20 yrs teaching experience.
I give classes for guitar, bass guitar, theory, composition, arranging, mixing and production in English with intermediate Spanish.

I have my own approach to teaching drawn from my own inspirational teachers and the experience of teaching, performing and recording for over 30 years.

I adapt to the needs and goals of the student, but a typical 1st year class for guitar would involve focusing on a variety of pieces in different styles and suggestions of any helpful technical exercises, reading, rhythm playing, expanding chord/harmony knowledge and supporting theory. In time I would include new techniques as required by the piece and style and improvisation/composition to follow the student’s interest.

I have developed an accelerated program with the goal of the student playing their favourite pieces as soon as possible. My constant aim is to find the right balance between student motivation and a thorough musical grounding, equipping the student for the future.
