As a performing artist since 1997 with twenty years of teaching experience, I have earned the confidence to give you the skills and allow you to observe inwards as you refine them.

Do you have a guitar sitting in the corner of your house that you always wanted to learn how to play, or do want to take your music-making to the next level? My name is Tiago, I'm a professional musician and I'm offering Guitar and Lute lessons in Basel.

I own a Master in Music Pedagogy and a Master in Performance, both attained at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. I have 12 years of experience teaching the Guitar and the Lute to students both young and adult, and I also regularly perform concerts in Switzerland and all around Europe.

I like to teach and play most styles of music, from classical music to Pop and Rock. My primary focus is on creating a personal connection and approach to the chosen instruments and to music in general. This includes (depending on your wishes, of course) your own musical expression, improvisation, songwriting (with lyrics if desired), song accompaniment and improvisation, as well as music theory and instrument-specific references.
